It took about 30 minutes to get my order right. Possibly longer. The other patrons were acting terribly. The bartender herself was tipsy (according to her words, and it was noticeable otherwise.) Honestly, the only reason it’s 2 stars instead of 1 is because I had decent company which made the experience not horrible.

Although I’d have to go to “the whistle” next door first if im actually hungry, Once I’m done eating…THEN we close our tab to go to hot corner lol. Even though they may not have food there because it’s too small for a kitchen, its just a normal little bar but the pool tables r free and they also have slots and they get the most hot spins as far as I’ve seen in a bar with video gambling slots . I’ve won jackpots multiple times as well as my friends. So just fill up on the grub next door THEN walk next door for fun and cheaper drinks to top off the night before u go home lol it’s a perfect set up they know what they r doing. It’s no coincidence. If I had an amazing restaurant next to my bar I would consider it free advertising. A lot of ppl eat know this too. For example there’s Palermo’s, wus ramen, Jersey mikes, nonnas pizza, White Castle, Andy’s frozen custard, smash burger, fry the coop, coldstone creamery, potbelly’s… blah blah blah so on and so on. I’ve even gone there just to take a shot or too and shop at the thrift store and music stores down the. Lock lol. It’s a great area in downtown oak lawn to get ur buzz on a move on if ya know what I mean. And yes they paid me to make this review hahaha I’m jk. Bartenders hot as hell tho lowkey

I overheard the owner tell the bartender (while being drunk and handsy with her) “we don’t care about black lives here we only care about blue lives”
My Uber was outside and the bartender disappeared. I put on my mask and looked for her out back and the owner said “we got a mask wearer over here”
Even if you agree with their politics they’re just a**holes here. This place is a joke

Small dark sometimes crowded, just what you expect from a family owned neighborhood joint.
Not a bare inch of wall is left uncovered by sports artifacts. They’ll always have today’s sports page taped at a conveniently strategic reading right above the men’s toilet (don’t know about the ladies). This place is next door to what used to be a casino lounge that recently morphed into a high end bar. But if you just want relax, watch a game, or play the Links Golf Tournament, park in back and join the mostly Irish Fire Fighters and Cops hanging out. Oh yeah the beers pretty cheap too and may God Lord rue the day you can’t get a shot of some smooth Irish whiskey.

It is incredibly entertaining, it has a circus like atmosphere with a ringmaster,carnival barker and the smell of sawdust, there are magicians, storytellers, joke tellers, acrobats that will do somerset’s on solid ground, there are fire eaters and sword swallowers, clowns, and plate spinners, come join the fun, a splendid time is guaranteed for all! I Was in here a few days ago and i have to admit it was TERRIBLE. 3 customers and the bartender only showed interest in the regulars.. They were out of most of the beverages we ordered and when we made a comment of “what do you have then” they asked us to leave. Will never set foot in this place again..

Love this bar… people say it’s a dive bar what makes it a dive bar not the people the owner doesn’t put any money into the place so what do you expect the people in there are excellent most of the people in there are excellent.. the people behind the bar are excellent..lol

I was promised a magic show. Then Google showed up, once again asking me how a place was. Google was quite inebriated by the time I got there. It proceeded to alternate between crying and fighting. Other than it was a good place. The bathroom is the perfect place to pass out standing up.
