True comfort burger made fresh and delicious. Tastes like a family cookout burger. Generous portions. Chili cheese fries good too. For the price, the combo meal beats chain restaurants. Definitely worth a try if you like fresh burgers classic

As a burger snob, I wasn’t expecting much from this small, newly-opened place, but I was pleasantly surprised. They use Angus beef and put a very nice sear on the burger. Between the crispy sear and the grilled bun, there was some nice texture here. I would have preferred a burger grilled to medium or medium-rare, but I didn’t ask so it came out well-done. At under $13 for a large burger, fries, coleslaw and a soda, this was a bargain.

I’ve been waiting for this place to open! I finally saw that they were and stopped in. The inside is pretty cool and very 80s nostalgic right down to the music.
As for food, I tried two of the cheeseburger sliders, coleslaw, fries, and a soda. Nice selection of soda, so nice going on that. The fries were my favorite, and had just the right amount of salt. The slaw might have been a bit too creamy, but still tasted decent.
The cheeseburgers, though, weren’t really up to snuff. The buns were either warmed up too much to the point they were dry, or they were stale. The cheese and onion ratio were excellent, but the burger itself was also dry. I’d be tempted to try a 1/3 pound burger sometime and see how that is, but I would go back for the sliders.
Interesting place, and I hope they get a chance to really perfect their food.

Finally tried Hot Burgers tonight! Omg I have gotta say it was absolutely delicious!!!!! I got the 1/3 classic & husband got the 1/3 hamburger w fries… we also got a strawberry milkshake & chocolate milkshake…. I must say “mouth watering”…. 5 stars all the way!!! Best burgers around!!

EDIT – the day they originally opened there was a recall on ground beef due to salmonella. Well since eating there on day 1 I’ve had less than desirable toilet experiences and have since been diagnosed with salmonella. I do not doubt that it was from that burger.
It did taste good. They closed soon after, reopened – and the burgers were not as good. And now they’re closed again.

Ordered a Gratiot Burger with medium fries, coleslaw, and a drink. The order came to a little over $15 and is well priced. The burger was delicious and well cooked. The fries were ok and the added coleslaw was a nice touch. Wait time was about 10 minutes, cooked to order so I suggest ordering ahead and then picking up. The service was good and friendly. All the ingredients are fresh. I can’t wait to see this place grow and bring more variety to their menu.

Cool little restaurant, nice inside and happy someone decided to open a restaurant after the building sat vacant for a long time.
Burger was fatty with a lot of gristle and didn’t taste seasoned, while chewing the burger you get a bad texture. We got cheese fries and an order of chili cheese fries and they both were under cooked and didn’t hold up to either toppings. Ordered mozzarella cheese sticks that were also under cooked. There really wasn’t a reason for anything to be undercooked as we were the only 2 in the restaurant. I hope this is interpreted as positive criticism, I wish the restaurant success and would for sure be back if they upgraded the burger meat quality and the French fries from the thicker under cooked mashed potato fry to a more crispier seasoned French fry.
