I recently visited Hot Breads Plano and tried their tea and maska bun. It was such a simple order, but honestly one of the most satisfying tea-time snacks. The maska bun was soft, warm, and generously buttered, and it paired perfectly with the hot tea.
The first bite itself reminded me of the classic bakery-style snacks you get in India. The bun had a light crisp on the outside and was fluffy inside, while the butter melted nicely and gave it a rich flavor. The tea was also well balanced, not too strong and not too mild, making it the perfect companion to the bun.
We enjoyed it so much that we immediately ordered 10 more maska buns to take with us. The staff packed them really nicely, which made it convenient for us to carry them all the way to another state without worrying about them getting damaged.
The place itself has a nice bakery vibe, and the service was quick and friendly. Sometimes the simplest foods end up being the most memorable, and this was definitely one of those experiences.
If you love classic chai and bakery snacks, their maska bun with tea is definitely something worth trying. ☕

I come here almost every day just for the tea, and it never disappoints. The tea is always fresh, flavorful, and honestly one of the best parts of my daily routine. I also tried their fried rice and it was really delicious, perfectly cooked, flavorful, and very satisfying.

What makes the experience even better is the front desk staff. They are always welcoming, friendly, and make you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. Their service is quick, polite, and consistent, which is why I enjoy coming back so often. If you’re looking for a place with great tea, tasty fried rice, and excellent customer service, this spot is definitely worth visiting.

Chicken 65 was not good. Other than that we enjoyed our order. My new favorite is Chicken chilli.

I ordered a chicken appetizer yesterday. The quantity was very small for the price. When I asked about it, the front desk staff checked with the kitchen and gave me a little more, which I appreciate. However, the food did not taste very good. I hope the restaurant can improve the taste and maintain a proper quantity for the price.

I and my kids like coming here again and again for their food, but the only things which turns off is the smell, God knows what do they use it smells so bad inside.
They should use some good fragrance because the food is delicious but the smell omg disgusts us.
I recommended a white friend and she told me the same and said I’ll never eat food from a place which stinks.
Please take this comment seriously and do something to avoid that dirty smell.

The breads are not good in quality. I have ordered pav from them are they gave me rock hard bread from fridge. The pav were not even room temperature but absolutely cold. The cream roll didnt have filling. It was empty halfway! Don’t recook anyone to buy their bakery products.

I tried the biryani and poori here last week, and both were fantastic. The biryani portion was generous and really satisfying.

I bought a chilli chicken here, and it‘s mix of old and new marinated chicken. sour and tasted off — clearly old or not stored properly. This is not just disappointing, it’s unacceptable. Serving spoiled food is a serious health risk.

Over the years, the quality of food at this place has deteriorated noticeably. Even small street vendors in India would serve food that tastes far better than what is offered here now. The snacks felt undercooked, and the tea was overloaded with sugar to the point of being unpleasant. It’s disappointing to see a place that once attracted people for a simple light snack and a good hot drink lose both its quality and the loyal clientele that came with it.

I stopped by Hot Breads Plano and honestly loved it. The food was full of flavor, and came out nice and hot. Their pastries and snacks were really tasty, and the Indian dishes had just the right amount of spice. The staff was friendly and attentive, and even though it was busy, the service was surprisingly quick. The place itself is clean, welcoming, and has a great mix of bakery items and full meals
