A 8/10 bagel place. Probably in the top 5 of bagel places in North Jersey. I highly recommend anyone new to this area or traveling from other states to check them out. Here is what i ordered:
I got an Asiago Bagel with bacon egg and cheese. The egg was cooked nicely and they are very generous to the portions when it comes to the bacon. The bagel was pretty big, all the flavors complimented each other well and it was very fulfilling. I felt like i got what i paid for.
I also got a panini bacon egg and cheese. The bread was burned, had to scrape off the burned pieces off of the bread, the bacon was alo burnt, it did not have much cheese as well. It was an OKAY panini, but its not worth $9.
Other than the panini, the service is amazing, they are always busy on the weekends so be prepared to stay in line for at least 7-10 minutes.

Baloney Jones
Fast paced bagel spot with wide selection of breakfast/deli standards. Long list of creative sandwiches with custom options. Stopped in on a busy Sunday and waited a bit longer than usual for our order, and ended up getting one of the bagels wrong. I didn’t bother mentioning it because it was similar enough and everything there is solid. Bagels are fresh and well made and the hash browns were surprisingly good. Friends had the lox and said they were great. Overall, would highly recommend. 4.3/5 -BJ

I come here all the time, have been for years, and that may change today. I just paid $13 for a lox bagel with no lox on it. Pickup order that I brought on my way to work. Had I been able to I would have gone right back. Phone calls and no answer.

My go to bagel shop in NJ. The best bagels!!! They have a great many flavors, my favorite is sesame. Their sandwiches are great. I get one before my flight and eat one in the plane. I also buy dozen of them and take them back to Portland and freeze them. No comparison with the ones in Portland. I love their bagels.

Ordered online to be picked up at 10:15. Received confirmation order was ready. Entered shop at 10:25 and order was not with others. Very busy so waited a few minutes for someone to help. Gave my name and person looked at a few tickets and then continued working. Five minutes later got attention of another employee and same thing happened. Waited patiently another 5 minutes until another employee asked if he could help. He found my order and started to work on it. They didn’t have flagels requested but instead of asking me about it just started making with plain bagel. When I asked about using the bagel he got very angry at me and indicated that I was the issue after I waited patiently for more than 15 minutes for an order that was confirmed as ready. Worst customer service experience ever.

This morning I ordered a breakfast sandwich on a bagel and a bagel with lox cream cheese. Both look really good – decent sized bagels and plenty of filling. The breakfast sandwich was a touch soft due to steam from the filling and wrapped in foil. They have a smooth operation and they move as quickly as they can. I suggest ordering in advance, and if you create an account you get a 5% discount! Again, I like supporting small, independent businesses and this is one is worth visiting again.

BEST bagel shop in Montclair! There’s always a line but it’s well worth the wait (I usually call in an order to save time). One of my go to’s is their scallion and lox omelette but I also love their selection of flavored cream cheeses and attention to detail like coffee ice cubes in their iced coffee. They’ve got a wide selection of lunch options as well, 10/10 would recommend.

Very rude. Very racist. Stand in line for 10 minutes and the lady skips me to take the person behind me order. Thankfully he was nice enough to let her know I was clearly standing in front of him and was next. I gave her my order when it was time to pay I let her know I was going to use tap to pay. My phone was in my hand as I was reaching to tap pay and she moves the bag closer to her as if I was going to steal a $3 bagel. Then when I paid she gave me the bag. Very racist very disrespectful. I been coming here for a while but that was the very last time. If I didn’t have 2 babies with me i definitely would’ve let her know how wrong she treated me.
