Hands down my favorite bagel spot. Bagels are fresh and adequately sized. Topping portions are perfect. Friendly staff. Clean self-serve coffee station with several options. Best spot around town!

Very friendly great service and excellent bagels!! I’m not a fan of carbs but I decided to try their bagels for school breakfast and I wasn’t disappointed! They are so good!!
They also made Pork rolls or ham egg and cheese for our school breakfast order (as we were hosting a breakfast) and they were a super hit with the kids!! They gave a 10% discount for the order and gave us a dozen bagels free!! Five stars for everything – food and service. Our large order was packed and ready to go at 7:30am in the morning!!

So….. I am from out of town. I was working to restore power after a storm. We stumbled on this Bagel joint by accident. Boy am I glad we did. I had the steak and egg bagel. I am not kidding when I say, it was hands down the best freaking sandwich I’ve had in years!!! The lady’s working were the nicest people you could hope for. I can’t say enough about this place. There was a local gentleman who bit us coffee and orange juice. It just doesn’t get any better than that. If you’re hungry, like bagels and are in Clinton New Jersey… stop here. You’ll thank me later! Well done Hot Bagels! Well done!!!

I don’t know if cream cheese is suddenly as valuable as gold, but it was applied more thin than gold leaf. Also a bagel was supposed to have tomato, and it didn’t. Applied with the same amount of cream cheese. Just enough to smell.

The bagels are so fresh and so good. My go to is toasted everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and bacon. The staff are so helpful and nice, which makes it easier to keep going back. Highly recommend this bagel shop!

A solid local choice! I stopped here on a whim at 10:00AM on a Thursday morning. We were after a large order so our order took about 20minutes to prepare. It’s hard to blame them for that but still worth mentioning. This is the type of place that people know each other and has a very friendly vibe. Ordered a Taylor ham egg and cheese on Onion bagel with ketchup and pepper. Only downside is they forgot the ketchup and pepper so was a little sad because I was already long gone and no access to either. Will return if I’m ever in the area and need a bite.

To the person who said the bagels are moldy: Did you maybe choose an herb bagel? I have gotten the bagels at Hot Bagels in Clinton many, many times and they are always fresh- often still hot or warm. They SELL OUT of popular flavors, so there is no time for mold- they are made fresh each day. These people accommodated me when I private messaged them late at night that I needed a HUGE order ready by the time they opened the next morning. To the person who said it is expensive: Consider the quality; you get what you pay for. It is worth it.

Even though this place is understaffed, they still continue to thrive and work with pride to serve customers! NJ runs on Hot Bagels!

Unfortunately I can only give them 3 stars now. Got 2 bagels, an orange juice and coffee for almost $18 and our order was not correct. I understand they are still probably understaffed and have new employees learning the ropes but can’t be paying for incorrect orders.

Hot bagels is the only good bagel place in the area that I have found. Great bagels. Service can be slow when they are busy but obviously it’s because they’re busy and the bagels are good. Love the weekday special.
