Absolutely lovely spot. The food was great as was the wine our fantastic waiter Ivo recommended based on our orders. If we find ourselves in Miami again we may just end up here again because we really enjoyed everything. The whole street is so cute to walk around too. Lots of outside and inside space with heaters outside. Loved the red glow of all the lights. Thanks for everything Ivo

The restaurant is located on a pedestrian only street which is really nice. We were staying at the Loews which was less then a 10 minute walk to the restaurant and about less then 15 minutesfrom the Ritz. We went there before the dinner rush and were seated immediately. Lorenzo who was our waiter was very knowledgeable with the menu and we chose everything he recommended to us. The bread that is brought to the table is amazing and the oil that it comes with is great but it has some spiciness so be careful if you are not 1 who like a little heat. The calamari and zucchini was really good. We got the gnocchi Ragusa and the lemon picotta which were both amazing. We finished our dinner with the crostata di Nutella which we both really enjoyed. I would have given more stars in the atmosphere if the owner did not have a life size sign of himself and his face on all the backs of the wait staff’s shirts which I felt looked really tasteless.

This is the place to come for a very nice date. If you want really good food, some pasta, and steak, this is the place. The service is clearly unmatched. Alvise, took care of us in such an excellent way. It was beyond exceptional. We were always taken care of and it is very, very rare to have such service. The music is refreshing matching the restaurant and the food. You don’t wanna miss it, especially if you want to have a beautiful date with your significant other. Also, it is next to the walking street and if you do not mind people passing by, it will be more than excellent. 100% recommended!!

We stumbled upon this restaurant while walking one evening. (Thank God we did!) it was a very crowded night, but got in after a 15 minute wait. The hostess was friendly and attentive to the waiting customers. Our waiter was from Milan and was extremely friendly. They start you with bread and garlic bread that was SO flavorful. I’ll include pictures of all the food we got, but everything was flavorful and fresh! The atmosphere was a little crowded, but the employees were used to it and thrived. Everyone was friendly, personable and had a smile on their faces!

Incredible spot to visit on espanola way. I absolutely loved my pasta dish. All the pastas are handcrafted and you can even see them making it. The waiters were super attentive and friendly. We were even impressed with their veggie dish which was the tastiest couscous we had in a long time. I love that it’s also an authentic Roman cuisine spot with dishes that reminded us of our time in Trastevere. If I could give it more stars I would. If you eat anywhere on this street it should be this spot.

I have never eaten on Espanola Way because it’s a tourist trap. But I was hungry, Italian sounded great, they list their menu 40% off, and they had 4.7 stars on Google. Yes, they probably just raise the menu prices and then give a discount to bring customers in. Like me! But you know what? THE GNOCCHI WAS INCREDIBLE. Like eating fluffy pillows. It’s homemade. The pink sauce was perfection. The carbonara was full of flavor. Watermelon mojito was huge and for $12, a lovely deal. It’s loud with Italian music and singing and clapping but honestly, I’ll be thinking about that gnocchi for a longggg time. Also, the bread comes out hot and fresh and so fragrant with great garlic herb oil. 5 starssss

Whenever I’m in the area, I always come to Hosteria Romana. The food here is incredibly authentic Italian, and the atmosphere is vibrant with lively music. The waiters, many of whom are charming young Italian men, dance to the music, waving their napkins, and many customers can’t help but join in the fun!

Although the dishes weren’t prepared with great finesse, the portions were very large. We ordered the amount we usually do, but ended up wasting a lot of food.

But we were immersed in this joyful atmosphere all evening.

Just to start off, I’ve been coming here every year for the past 3 years and always look forward to the food and service. I went this past Sunday afternoon during lunch. Usually I go for dinner. It wasn’t crowded but still busy enough. This was my worst experience.

We were sat right away and got our bread and some water. Happy hour specials were never mentioned but I did overhear another table was told of them. Menu and pricing are the same as dinner but portions are waaay smaller.
Split the Cesar salad – which was fine. Ordered pink vodka sauce with spaghetti and sausage. FyI, its $8 to add tiny chunks which looked like amounted to half a sausage. The sauce tasted like a name brand canned of Spaghetti-Os with hotdogs. I had to get up and serve myself water, not once, but twice. Each time we wanted parmesean cheese we had to ask and it was never offered. Service was slow and not as attentive as previous visits. Not sure I’ll return again which is sad.
