Amazing food!! The service was alright but I’d come back for the seafood pasta and gnocchi. I thought the seafood platter was tasty too but perhaps not as good value wise.
We didn’t try the dessert. We wanted to but the dish we wanted to try was this homemade off menu mousse they were making for other guests. We got the impression they didn’t want to make that for us perhaps bc it was getting late or bc we weren’t Italian. Anyways, that kind of tainted our experience but the pasta was so good I’d probably come back regardless

A real highlight is the grilled fish cooked over cherry wood — the flavor is unforgettable!

We reserved a table at Hostaria Mediterraneum for dinner on Saturday evening and it was a great choice. We tried several dishes from their menu and they were all delicious. The restaurant manager took extra care to ensure we had everything we needed, and he also recommended wine options to complement our meals. Namely, sparkling wine for the starters, followed by a red wine that paired well with the main course which was tuna steak. We finished dinner with a complementary dessert. At this point, I must emphasize the special attention that the restaurant manager pays to guests, making sure that everyone has everything they need to enjoy their visit and the food. Apart from the manager, we were served by a waiter, and both spoke very good English. The service was quick and friendly. The interior of the restaurant was cozy and suitable for a variety of situations, such as romantic dates, family gatherings or business dinners. The prices were a bit higher, but this was fully in line with the fresh, high-quality ingredients and seafood. We very much enjoyed our visit and will gladly come again. Recommended.

Small gem hidden near Porta Venezia. I and my husband found this cute Hosteria ramdomly by walking near by. We booked to give it a try and we were very happy of our choice. Service is very friendly and professional and food is excellent.

Olimpio and crews know how to look after a group of 6 like us and it was a very warming set up perfect for us spending our new year’s eve. We enjoyed so many seafood dishes especially the grilled fish, octopus, lobster pasta and epic finishing with the super refreshing sichuan pepper lemon sorbet. Highly recommend to others and will definitely come back again in future!
