It was clean, food was refilled often but drinks were not. It just didn’t seem the way it used to be but had been 10 years since I visited. Loved going as a kid. Less options maybe on salad bar? The seafood soup had barely any seafood, just potatos and the Mexican street corn and soup both tasted like flour. Between the color of it, all the sweet old regulars playing cards (thats kinda cute/good idea)there I half felt like I was at a retirement home. I’d still go back, I like salad bars and theyre not as common as they used to be

We just had my parent’s 40th plus Suprise anniversary party there. We rented the back room (which was FREE to rent) we only paid for people’s food. They had the tables set per our request, and we decorated per our liking. They accommodated our byob table. we were treated extremely professionally and got to pick our menu out. The staff was fantastic . And everyone had a fantastic time! Food was good too! My only tiny suggestion would be to have more than a few wine glasses on hand. Other than that the day was absolutely perfect! The salad bar as always was fantastic!

Salad bar was very fresh and well stocked. However, the red beet eggs were barely pink and look all torn up. I did not taste them based on appearance. The soups mostly juice and tasted watered down. It was around 7 pm so they never replenished them. Skimpy menu with few choices. Chicken and waffles were covered with padty dry mashed potatoes and very thin tasteless chicken broth that wast o be the gravy. I get food prices are high but $67.00 for a party of three and the terrible quality was a waste. We decided the lack of lighting over our table was to print us from seeing our food. Wrapped silverware had a spoon covered with dried napkin so maybe dim lighting is a intentional.

The food was decent it came out pretty fast. The salad bar was nice but a little messy. Other than that overall it’s pretty decent and has halfway decent prices for the food you get.

The Hoss’s in East York has changed. They’ve lost the friendly atmosphere. It’s no longer a family restaurant if people can bring in beer. It’s shame. I’m disappointed. There is still free parking. You didn’t need the change. I tried the buttered mushrooms. They tasted great but the tree was too big a serving.

Went here tonight for the first time in 10 years. The food is still as great as before. My steak was cooked perfectly. I went to the salad bar and grabbed for a plate. There right on top, was a dirty plate. No way to miss it. Then I notice the salad bar attendants going around filling everything up and cleaning spills and such. None of them took that plate away. The dining area was close quarters. While I was sitting waiting to order an employee with a cart went to go between me and some kind of counter. Instead of saying excuse me he slammed into the back of my chair. Not even 15 minutes later, here comes another employee the other way. Again didn’t say excuse me and slammed right into my chair. I had to literally move the table so it didn’t happen again. Justice was the server. She was GREAT! Very pleasant and helpful. She was also attentive, which was very nice. She is the very reason I didn’t give one star.
