First of all our waitress was very prompt, courteous and thorough. The tables and utensils were very clean and there was a young man monitoring carpet clean up around all tables and main traffic areas. We had the soup & salad lunch specials and I added a burger to mine. The add on burger was priced nicely and pretty tasty. The stuffed pepper soup had a good base taste but the peppers were way under cooked and tough and it was heavy on chunked tomatoes. The ham pot pie was mediocre at best. The salad bar was clean and well stocked. My only negative was we found some brown wilted lettuce mixed in. Affordable lunch menu overall.

Service was wonderful. I remember when we used to come here every weekend, we loved the steaks. There was always a line to get in. The sweet potatoes are still very good, always soft! But it seems like the quality of the food, especially the meats has gone down. Not just this Hoss’s, but all of them.

I have been going here and getting a bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup for the last 2 years and recently they started charging me about $10 a bowl. I called in to ask what the price should be because I’ve been charged different things from $3.99 to $11.99. I wasn’t complaining (at first)….I just wanted the correct and fair price. The lady was rude and told my wife that we were lucky the last time it was $3.99 by mistake. Apparently it’s $9 now she says. I order here all the time….I just want a fair price that is the same thing each time. I don’t think $11.99 for a bowl of soup is fair when I can get the whole salad bar for that? Also, it is their mistake….not mine. I decided since I’m SO Lucky…. that I will now have something from somewhere else. Guess I am lucky…I don’t have to deal with that nice lady anymore Such a shame.

On Saturday, November 29, my family (about 16 of us) had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal at Hoss’s. Our waitress, Ashley, did a great job of taking care of all of us. Thank you Ashley for the attention you gave us. Thank you Hoss’s for hiring a very good employee. The other employees we encountered that day were also nice, police and gracious. Keep up the good work!

The food at the soup bar wasn’t fresh, the food is way over priced. I took my 1.5 yr old grandson he got a kids meal and I got steak tips and broccoli and our bill was 38$ before a tip. There won’t be a next time.

We went to Hoss’s last night and really were disappointed with the salad bar. Things on the salad bar were needing to be tossed…. spinach as well as items needed to be filled….beans, sweet potato casserole. The ham pot pie soup was mostly broth.
Our waitress was excellent but for the price the salad bar was poorly managed.

We used to eat here pretty regularly and have left disappointed the last couple times we went. It’s been a few months since we’ve been there and tonight was AWFUL. My kids and I got the salad bar and alot of stuff was empty and a mess. I understand after dinner rushes…but then there needs to be discounts offered for lower quality service. For the record, it wasn’t busy at all while we were there. My husband got a burger and it was beyond over cooked and the fries were cold. My kids got a soft pretzel with cheese and the cheese had a thick crust over it like it had been sitting for a while. It took half an hour for the pretzel and burger to come out…and we were already done eating at the salad bar. I’m not sure if this is the new quality of service but I don’t think we will be back. $60 for a family of four to leave a salad bar still hungry is ridiculous.
