The salad, soup, and dessert bar is definitely worth it. We were seated quickly for dinner and they do have a good menu selection. My husband choose the 6 oz sirloin with baked potato with the salad bar added. Kudos to the staff at the salad bar, it was really clean and I constantly saw a worker filling items.

Perfect experience, dined in with my spouse on friday at around 4pm, salad bar, decorations, and excellent service were exactly as i remember when i ate at hoss’s a decade ago, waitess was very attentive, was offered multiple drink refills and had buffet plates taken multiple times, also very friendly, i recommend the chicken noodle soup, garlic bread, and frozen custard with toppings, salad bar had everything, fully stocked and warm, plenty of noodles in soup, this is my favorite restaurant, i will be back.

The salad bar was good.. the soup wasn’t as remember it being.. only one type of bread.. desert’s were better than a few yrs ago.. you all should branch out into Ohio.. with no buffets to speak of you could get the market

Buffet was nice, Clean, stocked, and looked up to customer satisfaction. Nacho bar was clean, easily identifiable, and most importantly, delicious. Homemade mint ice cream was fantastic. Dessert bar was set up in a manor that attracted me (other customers) in. My friend got a burger that lived to its description and even better. Meat patties were perfect size, cooked right, and not greasy. Fries were cooked just right. Not soggy nor overcooked.

Great place for an inexpensive meal! Steak & seafood house is an accurate description but the soup, salad & dessert bars are even better. The salad bar is one of the BEST with a wide variety of salad ingredients including pasta and other types of salads and toppings not found at a lot of other salad bars. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Clean, simple decor make it a great dining spot for lunch or dinner in the Ebensburg area! Catered meals are also available for a special occasion for larger groups.

After a bad experience at the Hoss’s in Altoona we decided to take a little ride out to Ebensburg and was pleasantly surprised. The salad bar is cleaner and provides options I have not seen at other locations. More importantly we felt welcomed and truly were welcomed. I would gladly drive the extra mile to return to this location. They have redeemed what little faith I have left in the family dining experience.
