Amazing sushi! Fresh and top notch quality. Best omakase in NJ! I enjoy eating sushi at least once a week. Chef Yang overwhelmed my taste buds with the freshest and finest ingredients. Much appreciation. My only regret.. I didn’t take all the pictures… posting some of the great sushis.

I found a local gem. Per my friend’s recommendation, I finally visited this restaurant and realized I should have tried this place much earlier. I had sushi omakase and was surprised with the quality of the sushi. I work in the city and am a regular to those high end Japanese restaurants, and what I had at Hoshitori was very comparable (or even better) to those popular pricey places in the city, run by famous chefs. If you want “quality” sushi, this is definitely one of the restaurants you want to keep in your favorite list.

Ok, was waiting a long time to make my review of Hoshitori Sushi in Old Tappan. I wanted make sure I had sufficient data so I have ordered from here about 8 times before deciding. AMAZING SUSHI. The staff is always amazingly friendly when I go into pick up or if I need something added to my delivery. Order from their website, not directly from Uber Eats. Uber overcharges. We order from here every weekend for Sushi Saturday at our house. Wish the dining room was reopened so we could come dine in! So nice!

I had a salmon avocado hand roll and it was so delicious! The service is very good and the food comes out really quickly. I definitely recommend this place because they have so many different options so there is always going to be something for everyone!

Got take out tonight. Dine in is not an option due to Covid. They have about 4’ of entry space available and the rest is cut off with chairs (so look elsewhere if you want dine in – Aug 21). They will deliver to your car so that is excellent. I had the chicken teriyaki. It had big chunks of onions, broccoli, and mushrooms with it. All are covered in teriyaki sauce. It was okay. Very sweet. The Huramaki (Japanese spring rolls) were okay too. Enjoyed my meal but wasn’t the “OMG this is so good” that gets a place that 5th star. Solid 4 stars though.
