This is the only sushi store in the food hall, located right next to the passageway doors. They have over 30 different types of sushi rolls. Some small dishes, sashimi, desserts and drinks are also available in the menu. Prices range from $8 to $20. They are one of the rare stores that actually has seats all around it. Looks pretty cool to get the view of the kitchen from the seats.

I waited about 5 minutes in the line to put in my order. They use phone numbers to notify customers when order is ready for pick up. Very convenient as visitors can go around while their rolls are getting ready. My order took about 20 minutes to be ready. While I was waiting, I saw other orders coming out, the sushi and snack items looked really nice. The staff members were working super hard in the kitchen to get the huge numbers of orders completed as quickly as possible.

I got the eel sushi roll. It came with 10 pieces. The taste of the eel and rice was decent. The sauce was really good. They also have a lot of ginger and good quantity of wasabi. Overall it was a decent meal, but I wish the wait time wasn’t this long.

This sushi place really surprised me. I had passed by it so many times without trying it, but I’m glad I finally did. The food was fresh, flavorful, and better than I expected. Definitely a pleasant surprise and a spot I’ll be visiting again.

I sat down at the bar of the restaurant to eat my sushi. The bar area looks into the chef preparation area. While eating my sushi, I look up into the chef’s preparation area and see ROACHES!!! Insects!!!! Happily crawling around the food prep area. I was mortified. Threw away the rest of my sushi and left Assembly Food Hall. Drove straight to the grocery store on Broadway and vowed to cook my own food from now on. These restaurants are disgusting, not keeping up with sanitation. If they were cleaning properly nightly at close and throughout the day, roaches wouldn’t just be roaming around the food prep area like that. WANTED TO THROW UP!!!

This sushi joint never disappoints me. Ordered a few nigiri and the crab tower. Very pleased with the orders. My favorite is the yellowtail, sweet and buttery. Definitely give them a try.

Delicious sushi and pot stickers from the food hall with many amazing restaurants. You could easily overlook this place for some of the fancier looking places in the food hall but you would be making a mistake. This is one of the best places in the hall. The Nashville Hot roll was very tasty with great flavors and some spice. The pot stickers had a great crispy crust. Overall this is one of the top places to try at the food hall.

Seafood volcano roll was among the best sushi I’ve ever had. Loaded with a heaping portion of decadent crawfish that tasted like lobster claw. A little pricey but well worth it.

Eel roll was pretty run of the mill but not bad for the price.

Mochi was also very good. Tasted about the same as Bubbies but ice cream wasn’t as hard as I’m used to with grocery store mochi so it was if anything a bit more enjoyable to eat.

We were there at about 10pm on a Saturday night and we enjoyed some great live music in the food hall while we ate our sushi. Would definitely go back!

Came here just before 2p for a weekday quick bite after arriving in Nashville. Didn’t want to spoil my dinner appetite so I only ordered the Seafood Volcano Roll. It wasn’t busy so my order came out in record time 5 minutes and you get a text when it is ready.

– presentation was impressive with sushi rolls stacked like a volcano
– taste of the dynamite sauce over the scallops and crawfish and stacked California rolls was delicious, and the portion was pretty good for $18 and change
– the only tiny downside was the rice on the rolls — they were on the harder side instead of soft tasting :/ otherwise would have gotten a 5 star!

Staff at counter was friendly and the whole Assembly Food Hall had a chill vibe. If you sit outside you’ll get some music in the background along the coveted sitting, indoors there’s still plenty of seating throughout the hall.

Definitely will return to try out a few other rolls. 🙂 This place is great for a quick and delicious bite.

Absolutely the best sushi in town! Every roll tastes amazing and fresh, and the service is always warm and fast. Horu Sushi Nashville is my go-to spot whenever I crave quality Japanese food.

Horu Sushi Kitchen has great sushi that is very fresh. The side seaweed salad I got was a big portion size. It was a bit of a wait for food, but the Assembly Hall was packed, so the wait was completely understandable. Ordering on your phone, from your table, is very convenient. Overall, if you visit the food hall and want sushi, this place does not disappoint.

Stopped by to try a roll while visiting the Assembly Food Hall on a Friday night. Ordered the Nashville Hot Roll, it was a little pricey, but sounded good. Received a text in about 10 minutes that my food was ready for pickup.

Roll looked great as it was prepared nicely. It was a nice mix of shrimp tempura, crab, tuna, salmon, yellowtail, jalapeno, hot mayo, and sriracha. Flavors went together well and had a nice kick without being overwhelming. Fish was of decent quality, but price point was a little high. Overall, good place for sushi if you’re craving it at the Assembly Food Hall.
