Three visits in one week, that’s how great this place is. Prime rib, fish tacos, Cajun pasta, French dip and the shepards pie. Stand outs were…….well all of them. Chrissy was our server for two of the stops and she’s an absolute gem. Great recommendations and great service.

We had a fantastic linner at Horse & Hounds today. I ordered the beer burger and it was absolutely tremendous — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily one of the best I’ve had in a long time. My spouse had the shepherd’s pie and loved it — rich, hearty, and clearly made with care.
The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was just as impressive.
We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town.

Stopped here on our way south and glad we did! Food was outstanding, chill atmosphere on the outside patio and they are dog friendly. We had the chicken pot pie and for dessert the bananas Foster bread pudding. Good thing we live 5 hours away, I’d gain 10# if I lived closer.

Haven’t been here in years and I know why! The most terrible experience ever. Hamburger was not well done and when we couldn’t eat it, the “manager” Mike, came out to argue that we are not right and we need to pay for the burger we did not eat. Manager Mike, came out said “it’s my restaurant and if you don’t like the way we make the food, you can pay for it and leave” and walked away. We were not rude, just had to leave and get back to work. If wanting good food, go next door to the diner, don’t waste your time or money.

I am a hard person to please. I am picky and I used to be a server years ago. I am not sure about the people who gave low ratings but let me tell you right off, this was hands down, one of the best meals my family has had in a long time. We went at 11am on a Thursday so plenty of seating. Brianna was our server and she was excellent. The other help also was great, our drinks never got close to running out and refills were present. The cheese kurds and pretzel with beer cheese was DELICIOUS! AND HUGE! My mother and I got rubens and they were thick and cooked perfectly. I wear dentures and though people left reviews saying they were hard to eat ours were perfect and easily chewed. My father had fish and chips and it was also a nice large piece and done perfectly. We all paid extra and got onion rings. AND LET ME TELL YOU the onion rings are some of the best we have ever had! My Dad is an onion ring afectiondio and they are among the top he has had in his 82 years. Parking was easy, we sat out on patio with our dog. Seated quick, service excellent. They brought water for the dog and said hi to him. I got him a chicken breast and it came in it’s own container and was cut up. It smelled really good so we all tried it and, no kidding, it was one of the best chicken breasts we all had tasted. Juicy and full of flavor! We had to stop ourselves from eating to much as it was for the dog!!!!!! The only average things were the coleslaw and the Mac and cheese, they were just ok. If it weren’t 80 miles round trip we would definitely go back often.

I have been here multiple times and every time I go I am never disappointed. I always get the beer cheese burger. Just an amazing juicy and delicious burger. I to be honest in my opinion it’s the best burger I have ever had in my life. When I want a burger I usually travel all the way here. It’s worth the drive to me. The blondie desert was icing on the cake very delicious no complaints. I recommend highly going here for a great time and for wonderful food it never disappoints and the staff there is always wonderful and very polite. Tonight I had an amazing server named heather she was so sweet and very kind. She was always on point with everything especially taking my plates when I was done with them. If you haven’t been here already definitely go you won’t be disappointed

We were sat down outside where they had a guy playing and singing guitar. Drinks and appetizers came fast. Dinner didn’t take long and was delicious! We all enjoyed our food and were able to bring the pup to sit with us on the patio

This restaurant is in horse country so the theme is equestrian. We didn’t get any appetizers, but they have several, including fried pickles. I chose the Pecan Chicken, I had it grilled. They covered it in a lobster sauce with pecans. It was amazing, and the sweet potato fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside and served with a vanilla dip. Hubby went for the Prime Rib, baked potato, and mac and cheese. The steak was cooked perfectly. The mac and cheese was an experience in itself. It was creamy and delicious. We were full but had to try the Berry Mascopon cake. It didn’t disappoint. So if you are going down US 27 towards Ocala, Florida, stop in you will not be disappointed. They also had music on the outside patio and had a full bar.
