Absolutely amazing seafood at an amazing price. I’m torn between sharing this gem and keeping it a secret for myself… haha!
I got the 4 piece fish and the 4 piece shrimp combo. As soon as I finished saying my order, I saw the worker in the back dropping fresh fish, shrimp, and fries into the fryer. Food was hot and my drink ice cold when I got it around 7 minutes later. Fish was mild and fried perfectly. The shrimp was PERFECT. It was a light breading but absolutely incredible flavor.
And don’t forget to bring CASH as it’s a cash only joint. Regardless, I will definitely be coming back.

Got the 4 fish and 4 shrimp plate (with fries and a roll) . Food tasted fresh and liked it. Service was fast and courteous. It is a small food stand, no seating and cash only. Glad to try local food.

The food Arrived hot & Flavorful, FRESH out the Oil.
The Fish was cut in a manner like the length of a single cigar and the wideness of two cigars.
The shrimp was medium size, & tasty.
I ordered the plate that comes with two fish & two shrimp with fries.
It was good.
I will just order my fries well done next time.

Quick and really good, I heard it was good and sometimes would see it get super packed. I met Mr. Hornsby himself nice dude. Fish was piping hot and fresh tasting. Shrimp was fresh too and tasted good. Tartar sauce and fries were good too! Definitely recommend. It was dead on Wednesday but was worth it. Canned sodas are a dollar.

I’ve driven by this place for years now and finally tried this place. Now I wish I had sooner. The fish is so good, crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and so delicious. And the pieces were huge. Four big pieces for 6 bucks. And the tarter sauce is great. Obviously homemade, some of the best I ever tasted. This place puts another Corpus Christi local take out fish chain to shame, and is probably the reason the location nearby this place closed. I can’t wait to try the burgers and the rest of the simple menu. I work nearby and will be back. I highly recommend it.

My usual spot closes a bit early and I stumbled upon this lil hidden treasure. If you weren’t looking for it, you might pass it by. The fried fish and shrimp are perfect and fresh. I haven’t tried the snacks yet but everything looks tasty. You might want to call your order in ahead of time because they seem pretty popular. I’m definitely going to make this a regular stop on my trips out to the island. I’ll take photos next time because the food was so good we just forgot.
