Today was my 1st & be our last time at Hornitos. I was so excited but was completely disappointed. The service was friendly but super super slow. It took 25 to meet our server, 49mins to get our drinks & 40mins for our food. Our drinks were not good: some were nasty, then weak & the last round round way too strong. I tried given them chances: epic fail.. Food was a bit cold and they didn’t have any seafood or guacamole my fav items. So left unhappy. They need help in the kitchen & to be more attentive with service. Our server was barely around to even discuss the issues tonight. So here it is.

Be aware of incorrect pricing on the bill!!!
This place has a great atmosphere and big screens to enjoy sports. We were there last night for the Colombia game and I witnessed TWICE within a few minutes, the servers trying to charge incorrect prices to 2 people in our party.
The first was my buddy who ordered a Hookah, price he was told was $30, and $50 was handed over. After several minutes, server comes back and hands my friend $15 and waits for the tip…so my buddy comes to us and says “I guess the price was $35? He just upped it after walking away” …chalk it up to miscommunication? Eh, maybe.
But then our main bill comes and we noticed the price of the bottle went up around $50 and we had to go to their IG post or online menu to show the waitress the correct amount. She took it and came back with the corrected amount…no apology for the “mistake”.
This happening twice within a few moments makes me believe they do this to a lot of people. It’s crammed in there, people are drinking a lot, people are dancing and music is playing so a lot of distractions. Perfect recipe for adding a little on top.

Was here with my girls tonight. Just got home about 30 minutes ago and let me say this place is amazing. The service was amazing. They checked up on us often. The food, delicious. The music and the DJ? Freaking awesome. We had came from a different place and it was worth it. We absolutely loved it and probably will come back for some for time. Thank you everyone for such an amazing time!!

I went to Hornitos on a Saturday night and it was a good time. Good music, drinks, ordered a couple of apps. We left early but you can tell this place gets fun later in the night. Overall good experience that time.
However, I decided to go for brunch soon after that and it was my biggest regret! We got there around 2pm and we were the only ones there! We were told they had just opened and were setting up- how did you just open at 2pm for brunch? It was supposed to be bottomless but in the 90 minutes that we were there our drinks got refilled twice. We were only two people, and no one else was in the place. So, really no excuse as to why we didn’t receive decent service. Might have been because the servers were sitting at another table eating their own lunch and had no regard for us whatsoever! What did it for us was that tip was already included in the bill and we didn’t realize until after we left. At least a 22% tip was included!!! Honestly, we just ran out of that place and didn’t look at our bill thoroughly. It’s sad because this place was great my first time there and has great potential but I’ll definitely not come back especially with better brunch options in the area!

These guys tried to scammed us we went for margaritas night special that were for a 1$ and we all got 18 margaritas some tacos also but when the check came in we saw that they charge them 5 margaritas specials and at the very bottom they put 13 margaritas for $150!!!!! They probably thought we were drunk and wouldn’t find out but no it didn’t make sense. After we addressed it to the server she just shrugged and went to get the new bill that came out to be $58 which was correct. On top of that the service was so terrible. We didn’t tip the server just because it was terrible but she still put her own tip. STAY AWAY FROM HERE PEOPLE !!

Great spot to have a nice dinner or just hangout with friends. It was an outstanding experience. We were seated quickly. Our server was friendly and gave us the best recommendations on food. The food was brought out us quick and had a nice presentation, Instagram worthy. The atmosphere is on point. Love the DJ.

Although the servers were nice, they very inattentive. Had to wait over 30 mins for our server to come back so we can order. When we ordered the hookah it came in the wrong flavor. My group got there around 11PM, by 12AM they said we either had to buy a bottle or leave, meanwhile the table next to us only had beers and weren’t asked to leave?? The DJ played good music but I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you plan to just chill and enjoy a drink they only pay attention to your party if you buy a bottle.
