Hands down the best bargain beer and burger in Wonder Lake. You can get a fresh cooked burger, fries, and a pint for $10. The menu is small, but the quality is always there. Also: they do a fantastic fried pork tenderloin sandwich.

We stopped there on a charity motorcycle ride. Staff was friendly, place was nice. We ate there as well. Food was great however should have been someone watching supply as well as the people who did not pay for food (we had wristbands to track). It was sad to see people who didn’t pay the $10 for a wristband, come and eat $30 worth of food. While people who paid had to sit and wait some i belive waited a while.
THEN after like 30-40 min there the waitress was checking for bands. (Too little to late sadly) the older dark haired lady (chef? Manager?) Was very sweet and did her best to get food out. Tasty for sure!!

Good bar food. Fancy new POS .But if you are a male dont expect privacy in the bathroom. IT IS SYRAIGHT UP DISTUSTING! But dont worry they take cards finally. They seem to cater to the wrong crowd.

I tried this bar last week. The food wasn’t bad. Although, I was surprised at how awful the customer service was from the lady bartender. I’m not sure of her name, but she has glasses and dark hair and I’m not going to guess an age but she was very rude for no apparent reasoning at all. Just because you’re not happy with your job, doesn’t mean you get to treat customers poorly. You are to smile and be kind to the public. I will most certainly pray for this young lady. I do not believe that it had anything to do with me, but everything to do with her. I would hope that the owner of this bar will have a serious talk with their employees. This is a public setting, and you are to make your customers feel at home and welcomed. I would be willing to write a better review if compensated for this awesome experience that turned into a Debbie downer! I do wish this Bussines the best! God Bless!

Been here plenty and had no issues. Came in today (Sunday Jan 2) and the bartender (who I had never seen), was just unfriendly. Definitely nothing like the rest of the bartenders I’ve encountered there, who are wonderful. Maybe she was having a bad day but it wasn’t what I’d call good service.

What an absolutely fantastic experience. My first visit to Horizontals was followed up a couple hours later by a second visit. A great location with a lake view, this is quite a cozy spot. Remarkable hosts on Tom and Lori (Laurie?…apologies for my ignorance), I felt like I have been coming here for years. My wings were delicious. Nice sauce and the wins were crispy with a tender and juicy center. I am truly looking forward to future visits. Well worth a 75-minute drive.

If I lived closer to this place I’d definitely be a regular. Everyone there, even the customers, were all very warm and welcoming. The woman working the bar was sweet as could be. Prices were great. Really wish I didn’t live an hour away.

Food is absolutely amazing. Prices are incredible and overall experience is great despite drunk local racists that get taken cared of my their poor spouses that have to deal with them on the daily.

Love this place. Right in my home town. Great food and great drinks. Wonderful service and fast service as well. If I could give more then 5 stars I would because not only I but all of my friends and family love this place especially for the 4th of July & karaoke night!
