The bread is good but the experience is trash. The area is dirty and the space is small, I can only imagine what the back of house area look like. I bought some of passion fruit juice and all I taste is sugar and esans. Let’s not talk about how everyone skips and they address their friends first… good bread though!

I brought food from this restaurant and I asked for a receipt and they said they don’t give receipt. How are you taking money from people and you don’t give them their receipt just in case if something goes wrong. They have a facility where they sell their food. they act like they selling food on the street. It seems like a scam, as if they are changing price or they just don’t want refund people to if something goes wrong with the food. I’m not sure what’s going on but that’s very weird that you don’t give your customers their receipt. I mean you could go to any stores or any restaurant they will give the receipt because you’re giving your money out. I have never heard a place tell me they don’t give receipt. I could understand emailing or texting the receipt to the customer because they are saving paper but not giving Customers their receipt. It’s ridiculous.

The owner, and cashier are just plain rude! Their lack of customer service skills and unprofessional behavior will make you regret choosing to visit Horace Bakery & Restaurant. The quality of the food is subpar, and they are stingy with their meat in their legumes.(vegetables stew) I would strongly advise against dining at this establishment as they clearly do not care about their customers. They are not willing to stand behind their goods and services, which shows a lack of integrity and a lack of care for their customers’ satisfaction. We purchased an Ak100 and it was spoiled and they wouldn’t give us the credit towards our new food purchase, they rather lose us as a customer then to give a $3.00 credit.. Save yourself the time and money and look for a better restaurant in the Miami Beach area.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I don’t even write reviews, but I had to make an account just for this Haitian restaurant. The customer service was terrible, slow staff preparing the food and it seem like they don’t really know what they’re doing. An older lady is making the plates while a younger one is hovering behind her (when she could be serving another customer), seems like she doesn’t know what she is doing. I’ve had tasty authentic Haitian food plenty of times but this one did not hit the spot. The chicken in sauce was very overcooked and dry, and the chicken patty was absolutely gross if I must say, not sure what mystery meat it was but it definitely was not chicken.

The food and pastry is good but the employees aren’t professional. I bought pastries for $13.50 and my card got charged for $20 plus because by trying to do many things all at once, they have mistaken my card with another client. The worse part of it is when I was handed a card that wasn’t mine.

I can’t say enough good things about this place.
Not only is it Haitian owned, it’s operated by a loving family creating jobs and opportunities for their community.
Therefore it goes without saying, the food is superbly authentic and the service is extremely courteous.
I had the legume with diri ak sòs pois.
Their paté kòdé us also good as well as their soup joumou.
