Had the best night out with friends at Hopscotch & Vine—what a gem! From the moment we walked in, the space felt beautiful, cozy, and incredibly welcoming, the kind of place you instantly want to settle into and stay awhile.
Let’s talk about the food… WOW. The baked brie was pure ooey-gooey perfection—warm, melty, and completely irresistible. Honestly, it’s a must-order. The blackened salmon was just as impressive: perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and absolutely delicious.
Great food, great vibes, and great company made for tons of fun and a fantastic night out. Hopscotch & Vine absolutely nailed it—can’t wait to go back!

We held a Baby Shower in the restaurants private room. It was perfect! Everyone raved about the food. We chose to do a buffet with five apps and two different wraps, there were no leftovers! Their menu options fulfilled the need for our gluten-free and vegetarian guests. Our servers were so helpful during setup and the event, making sure all our guests had whatever they needed! Had carafes of different mimosas and sangria and a non-alcoholic Moscow mule, all very tasty! We were able to bring all our own desserts. I highly recommend Hopscotch and Vine!

An absolute gem in Plainfield!
We came in for a casual lunch and were blown away. We started with the stuffed mushrooms—crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Definitely a must-try appetizer.
For our entrées, we ordered the Tuscan Chicken Pasta and Shrimp Pesto Pasta—both were phenomenal. The portions were generous, the sauces were rich and flavorful, and the breadsticks were the perfect touch. I also added a loaded baked potato because, why not? No regrets there—it came fully loaded and tasted like it was made with love.
The Caesar salad was fresh and perfectly dressed. Cocktails were solid, too. The vibe is relaxed and the service was great—friendly without being overbearing.
Highly recommend HopScotch & Vine whether you’re out for a date, brunch with friends, or just hungry and want food that doesn’t mess around.

Went here with my wife for a lunch date over the holidays – wow! Cocktails were awesome, great calamari and we both got salads that were delicious. Cobb salad loaded with chicken and bacon, and the steak wedge salad was so good. Best of all, it was super affordable and with very friendly staff. Highly recommended!!

I went here on a double date in downtown Plainfield, it is in a good location and the service was great. The baked brie with raspberry sauce was delicious and the fried mushrooms were the best that I have ever had but my cheese ravioli was too salty. I would like to go back and order something else. The sangria flight was decent but the mystery flavor was awful tasting.

Pot roast sandwich was tender & flavorful. Fries were crisp and tasty. The salmon with squash & zucchini was amazing. Also had a steak wedge salad.

I had the chicken and spinach and artichoke sandwich. It was good. I ordered online thought I had two sides. I picked the fries and bean salad but I guess I made an error cause all I got was fries. Wish it was more clear on the app. Would of liked to try bean salad. The place was very beautiful inside. Smelled really nice when walking in. I gave 4 stars cause it was okay. I expected the food to look different than what I got and again did not like the confusion with the sides. Not sure if it was an app mistake or if it was not given to me in error.

Hadn’t been here since the menu changed so drastically. So pretty inside. Drink (sangria) tasted like plain red wine with 2 cranberries in the glass. I had a Cesar salad with salmon. The salmon was good but the salad was saturated in way too much dressing. My friend got the special Fettuccine Alfredo with tasted like it was from a box. Just not high quality food like I expected.

We wanted to check this place out Saturday night for dinner but I don’t have much to say about this place. We only stayed for one drink and right after ordering appetizers we decided to tell our waitress to make does to go! We realized after sitting down this place was way to load for us. I couldn’t hear my daughter and wife when I asked what they wanted to drink or eat. So I realized this was gonna be a terrible night if we stayed and not have a conversation at dinner. Can’t say the appetizer were good because I didn’t get to taste them, it I did order a vodka and pineapple drink and that was delicious. So hopefully next time around we have a better experience here and check out their food. I know it not their fault so we will give this place another shot one day.
