Got there in a quiet evening, 9:50 PM roughly and they were the closest to me serving food still. Clam chowder here was very good and so was the BBQ Mac and cheese.

Service was great. Will start off by saying that. The servers have nothing to do with food quality, always tip your servers regardless! Food cost is high for the amount of food tou get in your order. We got 2 kids meals, chicken strips and Mac cheese. 2 small little chicken strips and Mac and cheese that had no flavor, so much so my daughter couldn’t eat it. I even tried a bite and was probably one of the worst Mac cheese ive ever had. And the amount of friens they provide could be counted on 2 hands. Portion size doesn’t match the cost of what you get… could be a little more generous with the amount of food you get. With tip the meal was 80 or 85 bucks! Probably won’t go back as I can’t see the value of spending that much money and basically finishing a meal in 2 bites…

I recently visited Hop n Drop in Happy Valley, Oregon, to celebrate a friend’s anniversary, and it was a fantastic experience! This spot offers a welcoming, relaxed vibe similar to Chili’s in California but with a cozy, “northwest hospitality” feel that’s warm and inviting.
The food here is classic comfort fare, with large portions and plenty of flavor. I started with the French onion soup, which was incredibly cheesy and full of rich taste—a perfect start! We also enjoyed a hearty salad, crispy fried chicken, and a perfectly cooked patty melt. Each dish was satisfying, well-prepared, and delivered that familiar comfort food warmth.
Hop n Drop’s slogan says it all: “a neighborhood gathering place.” The atmosphere truly makes you feel like part of the community, and the service was friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely stop by one of their locations next time I’m in Washington or Oregon. A great place to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal with friends!

Hiya! I learned something rather interesting last night. My friend and I went to eat here and after asking our waiter if this restaurant is gluten-free friendly, he said “Yes” and I wasn’t all that hungry so we just ordered fries to share. About 20 minutes later another person came to our table with the fries , which were perfectly golden brown, and my friend asked her if they were gluten-free. While she was gone (finding an answer to his question) I said: “You know they’re gluten-free, you’re just playing with her, aren’t you?” Then she came back and to my utter surprise said: “No, the fries are not gluten-free, but the tots are.” My friend said that we must have gluten-free. So she took the fries away and about 5 minutes later a manager came back and apologized and delivered our tots.
The thing is we’d just gone through that whole spiel with the waiter about needing gluten-free and then he goes and tries to slip us fully glutenated fries! Plus, we were never given any flatware and after we finished eating the tots, I finally had to ask for some napkins. They weren’t very busy yet, there were maybe 4 other full tables besides ours, which of course was only half filled. So disenchanted!!

Had a good meal here: chicken bacon ranch sliders with fries. The mango lemon drop was perfection. The lighting was nice, as I don’t like the bright cafeteria-like styles of some places. Our server was friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed our meals and drinks.

The service was great. In the beginning we did have a very large party, so that is taken into consideration for this rating. Additionally, one of the waiters I believe was new, so there was some confusion and lack of food delivery to the customers, but our overall experience was great. I also enjoyed the raspberry mojita.
