I’m traveling through and I have such a wonderful experience here! Not only was the food tasty, made with good ingredients, but I have not gotten this much food for such a reasonable price in probably 5 to 8 years. I’m every single one of the servers was absolutely great! I would highly recommend this place to anyone

Restaurant is just down the road and some summers we have gone here just to sit outside and it’s close. Thought the menu was a bit boring and not very good. Well I’m happy to say things have definitely changed. My wife and I were there two weekends in a row. Food was excellent both times. Tacos great and nachos excellent although there pizzas are not the size they were 5 years ago, still very tasty. Waitresses were so attentive and friendly. And they have pitchers of beer again. And voodoo ranger on tap is amazing. Great changes and looking forward to more weekends. Cheers

Food is pretty good. Their onion rings rock, but if you’re looking for consistency this is not the place. My dad and I both ordered the same Maple Old-fashioned… mmmm mine was fantastic, my dad’s not so much, tasted like straight up whiskey. When asked to fix… mmmm…. they took it away for a few minutes and maybe added some syrup… still tasted super strong. And what are you supposed to say when they are standing there waiting… no drink is still crappy??? A new one would have been nice, may comp-ed… whatever.
On to the meal… when your waitress brings a burger with bacon that is BLACK, I don’t mean black edges, I mean down right all the way BLACK… BURNT… that’s just wrong. Now my dad sits and watches everyone else eat, waiting on the meal to be re-made… after we finally track down a person to send it back (only took about 10 minutes and 2 waitresses)…
End result after such a crappy meal you really expected someone from management to say something… nope, not a word. Either this place doesn’t care about customer service or the waitress didn’t mention all the mishaps. No word, no discount not even a sorry.
Needless to say, I won’t be back soon.
Customers beware

We stopped here for a late lunch. Even at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon the parking lot was pretty full which is a good sign. The food was excellent and service even better. If we’re ever in the area again we’ll definitely go here again. Highly recommend

It’s a very specious building with plenty of parking space. We came in on a Friday and waited about 30 minutes to be seated. The service was very great and friendly. The food was delicious and great potions. The appetizer came right away and the main meal came a little bit after. And ti too it off we had a delicious dessert. The only thing that I didn’t like was that the booth was a little to tight. But overall it was delicious and definitely going to come back again.

Hops at the Paddock is a bar & grill located on W Colombia St. in Allentown. They are open Sun – Thu 11AM – 11PM (kitchen closes at 9PM) and Fri – Sat 11AM – 2AM (kitchen closes at 10PM).
I’ve been here a handful of times over the past decade and never had a bad experience. The food and service are consistently good. My most recent I stopped in with some friends and family and everyone enjoyed themselves.
I ordered mozzarella moons, homemade pierogies, and one of their weekend specials; grilled cheese and pumpkin tomato soup. Everything was wonderful! I definitely recommend adding the Cajun crab and brown butter to the pierogies.
Hops has indoor and outdoor seating. Pickup is available, but there is no delivery.

update: we went for dinner, the wings are really good and very saucy. my hisband had a french dip. he said the au jus wasnt very beefy…he added some pepper and chowed down. my buffalo chicken cheese steak was yummy as always. pierogies are always good.
We go to Hops about 5 times a year. It is always good. IF I had 1 thing to complain about, it would be the very watered-down ranch dressing. Besides that, the wings are super saucy, the steak sandwiches are good, service is good, and the price is right.

Food was amazing, so was the service. The complaint is when it comes down to their drinks. The bar needs to start testing what they’re sending out three different drink’s and only one was tolerable . Unfortunately the drinks that were tried and not finished still had to be paid for . So customer service is probably at a level 3 considering they were told to taste the drinks they were sending out to understand they were not trying to be paid for and we’re definitely not drank at all.We still didn’t find one that we liked. There was one And only one mixed drink that we would finish and we each only had one after trying many.. At a establishment from this level I would expect service at all levels to stand up to the standards of the food. The food was absolutely amazing. Hands down, not one complaint. Our server was very attentive and patient with us when trying to figure out drink arrangements that were suitable due to the ussues with drink menu.

A nice low key atmosphere with great bar bites at a reasonable price! Homemade wing sauces, condiment sauces, etc
FOOD:
– Bar Pie 12″ – great pie at a great price ( in comments)
– Cheese fries – I love potato wedges but my mom was expecting fries, she hates wedges, so she was unhappy. I was very pleased though the cheesy blend on the wedges was to die for ( in comments)
– Wings – comes with 10, lots of sauces to choose from! (we counted 5 wings and 5 flats) We got Smokin Hot, which was like their hot but with a smokey essence. It was the move!!! The wings were a little dry, and were breaded. Served with blue cheese and celery. The blue cheese was homemade. ( in comments)
– Sweet potato tots – yummy little puff balls of sweet potato goodness! They taste almost maple syrupy in flavor! They did not come with something to dip in… I recommend to ask for ranch or BBQ sauce. ( in comments)
DESSERT:
(Ordered TO GO) – Peanut Butter Pie – frozen comes topped with choc syrup and crushed nuts! At the restaurant they heat it up for a little then serve it. Our waitress told us to heat it for 40 seconds at home. It was enough for all 5 of us to each have a few bites, very filling, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! ( in comments)
They also have a great craft beer selection here ( in comments – craft selection board updated 6/16/23)
