My son has always hyped this place up, and he wasn’t wrong at all! The flavors in every bite were truly delightful. I ordered the Mimosa Tower, and it was super cute—had me feeling all bougie lol. The place was super clean and neat, and the employees were very attentive. My absolute favorite were the pillow pancakes. Definitely worth checking out! It’s a 10/10 recommend.

This is my second time visiting this location, and just like the first time, we had an awesome experience. We sat in Monique’s section, and she is a great server! She was attentive and had great recommendations. We had the Expresso Martinis, YUM! We also had the Smoked Salmon Scramble and the Chili Crunch Bowl w Steak. Every time I have been here, the food has been fantastic, and the service is amazing. I will be back yet again for the great food and service. 10/10!

First time at HBB. Really impressed with the variety of selections on the menu! Pistachio coffee was delicious! Had the wild berry cakes, hope breakfast and pork belly grits. Portions are huge so definitely share! Great flavor and quality! Will be back!

Hopefully this review helps others – we had been waiting a long time to be able to try this place, we love good breakfast places with unique items and the menu here looks amazing (think Duluth Grill vibes). The hostesses were not friendly upon entering and it was hard to tell them apart from guests with their coats on and lack of greeting. Our server was awesome – Gage! Thank you! The latte and hot chocolate and coffee all fabulous. The food? Meh. If you like sweets, the sweet dishes were really good and my son loved his waffles loaded with caramel and pecans. the savory dishes disappointed us. Not good pork belly – tough, chewy and doesnt melt in your mouth like it should. The gravy is missing something and was bland, the bacon tacos look great on the menu but are a scrambled egg mess (not nice layers) and impossible to eat (and zero spice). Again, great service and coffee, but I wouldn’t wait in line more than ten minutes for a seat here…

Disappointed. Don’t waste your energy. This place is all hype but doesn’t deliver in service or food quality. Went there for brunch and our waitress was friendly and gave us suggestions on what to get. She told us a drink was her favorite. It was horchata latte. It’s supposed to be hot but it was warm. I mean warm as in Lukewarm. It took a long long time for us to get our drinks. We waited for probably 20 minutes before we got our drinks. A family of 4 came in after us sat down, and had their food before our server came back. A different server handed us the drinks. The horchata latte was not hot. I got a mimosa and it was half full. I thought is this a joke? We had our drinks for another 15 minutes before our server came back to ask us what we wanted to eat. I ordered the chili crunch bowl. It was so so. The jasmine rice was overcooked and mushy in some parts. The aioli tasted like they squirted craft mayo on the bowl. They aoili can go unless they add some sort of seasoning. I was skeptical of the grits strictly because the description said it had Old bay seasoning. I ordered them but shouldn’t have. They tasted like they had cream in them. They also had shaved parmesean cheese…they tasted nothing like grits. The grits were warm the cheese wasn’t all the way melted. The chili crunch bowl was OK I wouldn’t order anything I got today again. I was looking forward to a nice brunch with my sister and I was highly disappointed. You have to make a reservation because the place is so busy, but if the food quality is based on what i had today I wouldn’t go back. The prices are very reasonable. The presentation was nice but the taste was not there. Imagine biting into a chili crunch bowl expecting bold spicy flavors, then you get a mouthful of mayo that doesn’t pair well with the other flavors. Sorry this place is a no for me. The other thing that left a bad taste in my mouth was that after paying, my sister and I chatted for maybe 10 minutes then the server told us that the hostess said our reservation was over. We left without a comment but I was thinking: ma’am, we waited for 30 minutes before you even took our order. You also gave me a water with a straw already in it and the cup had a mouth print on it. Also having gnats flying around my mimosa and salad made me lose my appetite. Where are gnats living when it is -10 degrees outside? You gave me a half full mimosa and my sisters drink looked like a bunch of mush. My sister got some kind of toast with a bunch of stuff of it. It looked pretty, but when she cut the toast, it looked mushy because the bread was soggy.
I think this place has the ability to really have repeat customers if they improve their food quality. I would like the cook to taste the grits and see if they taste like grits.
The atmosphere is bubbly there, but it just seems overly hyped up. I saw another review that said they wouldn’t spend longer than 10 minutes there to wait. I agree.
Disappointing because I was ready to make multiple plans to come back with my husband, and other family and friends. I cannot recommend this place, which is unfortunate. I can’t say that it was because they were busy, because you and encouraged to book a reservation so the restaurant should know that they will be busy. I’m not sure what happened today but everything was underwhelming.
We didn’t get any of the desserts or pancakes or sweet stuff. All of it had a beautiful presentation. If you decide to go here, make sure you have a reservation, it’s busy.

First – Reservation is a MUST! They are super busy and we did a walk in for our first time and waited over an hour with our toddler. Took forever to get indoor seating; I would advise to book ahead of time!

Otherwise, Food was very tasty and yummy and the Atmosphere was great! Love the paintings and decor! They provide crayon and coloring page for kids. Super helpful!

What a fantastic addition to the city of Blaine for a breakfast and brunch option!!! The menu is mouth watering delicious! I can’t wait to come back and try everything from the beverages(n/a and fully loaded options) to the food. Ambiance is bright and cheery, nice patio with morning sunshine. Service is friendly, prompt, happy to give opinions, however never asked how our food tasted or prepared to liking. I have previously ordered to go and I highly recommend the B.B.A.L.T add an egg. At the end I had not finished my latte and they offered to put it in a Togo cup for me and gave us fresh cup of syrup for our pancakes we took home !!! Now that’s service.

First time to Hopes. And, plan to visit again.

Our table had the avocado toast, pillow pancakes, cinnamon roll waffles, and biscuits and gravy. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The pancakes were huge and even though our table shared them we could only eat about a third of them!

Do recommend!

We had a girls brunch – made a reservation for 1:45 pm. I got the hawaiian brunch bowl and my girlfriend got the carrot cake pancakes. We both got coffees as well. It was so hard to choose what to have. So many of their menu items sounded amazing. I ended up asking our server about what he might recommend. Im glad I trusted him because my meal was delicious. It was a large portion so I’ve got lunch for tomorrow. I think we stayed until almost 3:30 pm. I felt bad for not realizing what time they close. I hope to be back to try other things!

When I first walked into Hopes, the atmosphere was so welcoming, I love the decor. We were welcomed with smiles and great service. Monique was such a great waitress, when we talked to her it was like we were talking to a friend, and she had such a beautiful smile.

Be prepared to experience the different palettes of food, what we tried was so amazing and believe me, we tried a lot, . I will definitely be back, in fact my daughter is vegan and she is going to be so happy that she will have another choice for food.
