The men’s restroom sink faucet doesn’t have enough clearance for one to get their hands under without touching the sink or spraying water everywhere.
Overall, I think this place is pretty good. I would recommend eating here and coming back again to try other menu items.
Every time I’m in Denver I stop by Hopdoddy and I’m not disappointed.
The specialty burgers are delicious and they use high quality grass fed beef as well as fresh ingredients.
If you’re in the area and want a burger, this is the place to stop.
The sides and appetizers are very good as well, I recommend the brussels sprouts with hot honey, it’s so good.
As usual, we split our meal, gotta watch the micro/macro! We went with a classic burger with cheese, a “sharable” Hot Honey & Sage Sweets, a Voodoo Ranger, and a strawberry margarita.
Almost everything arrived at the same time. The drinks were cold, the Ranger was as expected. My Bride enjoyed her margarita. It could’ve used a little sugar on the rim, but when I sampled it, it was still a winner.
The fries were sweet potatoes drizzled with what looked like an Asian-style sauce, it didn’t quite taste like one. Instead, they were distinctly sweet with a clear spicy honey flavor, and if you scooped from the bottom, you got delightful hits of sage. They were a pleasant surprise and delicious.
The burger was smaller than we expected (most places go for oversized ‘Merican portions!); it was cooked perfectly, probably around medium, with real cheddar, which is exactly why we ordered it. A classic done right.
All in all, we’d gladly come back if the opportunity arises.
On a side note, the area around Union Station was lovely, there was a craft fair, plenty of people out and about, and not much in the way of “riff-raff.”
Thanks for the enjoyable experience, especially on my Bride’s birthday!
