Hop Sing, hop, sing, I hop sing with joy when I order the spring rolls. Freaking unbelievable, especially if you’re trying to compare it to other Chinese food spots. I forget the young lady at the character, always sweet always helpful, she told me that they’re better because they make them fresh twice a week. I’m telling you, you can taste the difference! Lightly seasoned with whatever they do with it, the vegetables are always crisp fresh and the duck sauce, they also make in store, and it is just different. Good prices, especially when you’re getting handmade homemade food!

Food was decent, got the hunan chicken combo that came with veggies and white rice. Never had that before, only reason I got it was because of a previous review left on here, it looked really good. Not really any flavor to the hunan chicken sauce, just spicy chicken flavored if that makes sense. Surprisingly, the duck sauce that comes in the little cups was really good lol. Not sure what kind they use but it was good. Lady that took my order at the counter was very nice and helpful, place seemed quite clean too from what I could see.

The food is some of the worst I’ve ever had. Boneless spare ribs are burnt, The breading on the shrimp and chicken fingers was enough to bread at least 10 lbs of both. So disgusting. The sauce from the general tso chicken was spilled all over the bag and other food because the chicken fingers and shrimp weren’t closed. It’s Valentine’s Day and you ruined my dinner…Thanks for nothing! First and last time I order from this place

Called in an order for chicken lo mein, hunan chicken, crab Rangoon, and crispy spring rolls. Lady asks for my number, I start telling her and halfway through she says “twenty minutes” then hangs up. Walk in to grab our food and she asks for my number, I tell her, she says I don’t have anything for you. I tell her what we ordered, she finds the bag then tells me “you said ______”. Lady, no offense but I think I know my phone number, I’m guessing you misheard me in your rush to get off the phone. Paid, went home. Food was decent, lo mein was good, hunan chicken was okay but was spicer than expected and chicken pieces were rather large. Would I go back? Maybe, if our preferred Chinese restaurant was closed and I had a hankering for mild abuse. 🙂

This is one of the best Chinese food restaurants in the area. The family that owns and runs it are so friendly! I’ve been going there since I was in my pre-teens, and they still remember me now.
The food is all hand made, and the duck sauce cannot be matched!
You get tons of food for your money.
Go try it today!

We have lived in Chittenden County since 1988 and had never been to this restaurant before, until today! WOW! What a find! This is a family-owned business and the family really cares about serving top quality authentic food. Jenny is a very sweet and caring employee. We will be loyal customers from now on. Everything was cooked perfectly and so fresh!!! It is nice to order garlic broccoli where broccoli is so fresh and green and the sauce is not a thickened cornstarch. Thank You Hop Sing Family!!!

My son and I are in the process of visiting every Chinese restaurant in Chittenden County. We always order the same thing.
I order a chicken and broccoli combo with pork fried rice and an egg roll. My son orders a sesame chicken combo with pork fried rice and beef teriyaki sticks.
Price: $18.04 or $.25/oz which is about average for Chittenden County.
Portion: 4.7lbs between the two meals is a .3oz more generous than average.
Pros: High traffic convenient location near Lowes on Susie Wilson Rd.
Fifteen minute turnaround from order to pickup.
Newer microwavable trays.
Full size egg role
Cons: Food flavor was average at best. The pork fried rice was a bit salty, dry and lacked flavor.
Impression: Decent food at a convenient location earning Hop Sing’s a 3 star review.

Don’t get the king pao chicken absolute waste of money you get 3 undercooked cut up stalks of celery and 2 cut up carrots with a little bit of chicken. And it doesn’t even taste like anything
