I’ve been here several times and each time I’ve been pleased with the food and the extensive menu items. Lately, I’ve been craving their spicy salted squid, which is lightly battered with scallions and jalapeno peppers. This time I also tried their spicy tofu with ground beef. Both were very good.

Food alone, it’s pretty good for Chinese. The food is a 4/5. Quality seems alright but it’s a little on the high side. Everything we ordered came out piping hot and crisp which meant it was freshly prepared. Only bad thing was my steam white rice. It was well over cooked and was like a rice cake… all mushy inside the middle.
The bad part is the service and atmosphere. Half the restaurant is closed down, just looks like areas for storage so only a few open tables. Decor is older, floors a little dirty, and tables/menus a lityle sticky. The gentlemen running the place doesn’t speak English well and either doesn’t hear or pretends not to hear any requests. For example, extra napkins or silverware… you can ask but you may or may not get it.
It’s a typical Chinese restaurant with poor service but pretty good food. Overall, I’d give this place a 3.6/5 so I’m rounding up.

Awesome Chinese outside of Chinatown! The owner has loud voice because he cannot hear too well and frustrated with speaking English because he doesn’t speak well. Regardless, I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem hidden in a strip mall. I loved the house special chow fun. Very authentic and tasty, full of different meats and veggies. Excellent. Hot and sour soup that comes with lunch special was well done, although the portion could be a tad bit larger. The sauteed three ingredients with spicy garlic sauce (triple delight at other Chinese places) was nice. It was not as spicy as I expected, so I put some chili oil, and it was better for me. The rock cod in sizzling plate with black bean and garlic sauce was fun. The rock cod was deep fried in batter, so it was like having fish and chips without the chips but with great sauce. In the end, you get fortune cookies that says stuff like, ” You will get wealthier and happier” or “Somebody loves you.” How can you not like this stuff?

Tried this place for the first (and last) time today. Ordered the chicken with vegetables, which apparently translates to “90% garlic with a cameo appearance from chicken and 5 massive pieces of broccoli” I love garlic—I’ve eaten it raw before—but this was next-level inedible. Even Dracula would’ve sent this back.
And before you ask: no, it wasn’t the restaurant’s “garlic-forward” style. Other dishes looked fine. Mine was just a tragic experiment gone wrong. I called to give them the heads-up, and their response was basically: “Yeah, we use garlic.” (Groundbreaking.) No refund, no replacement, not even a “sorry your taste buds died today.”
End result: $20 straight to the trash can, which now smells like an Italian vampire repellent. Save your money unless you’re in training for a garlic-eating competition.

I hate to do this I really do because I’ve been a long time customer. Ordered shrimp and snow peas and the shrimp is bad meaning spoiled. Mushy and also has black spots which is a tell tell sign. Won’t be back for a long time. Smh

My boyfriend and I went here a few years ago. We will never ever go back. The food was just OK, but the service was unimaginably bad. The owner (I assume he’s the owner) is extremely rude. My boyfriend asked where the restroom was and he got the rudest response. He just pointed to it and acted annoyed. Please stay away from this place.

I ordered at door dash 3 hrs ago and they cancelled my order last minute. I called them and the reason was “too many orders” and they hung up! Not recommended and unfriendly

Best Chinese Seafood on the West Side. Lemon Pepper Fish is a delight. The asparagus chicken is tender with generous al dente asparagus that are super fresh. Walnut shrimp are huge and tasty. The Kung pao is perfectly seasoned. Great for take out and the lunch specials are a great deal with soup. Parking is easy. Beer and wine are also available. They have 3 locations this one and the location on Pico are the best.

Came here with family for a celebration of life, and they kindly accommodated a very big, banquet style party. Food was absolutely delicious, and service was 100%!! Very attentive and got us everything we needed in a timely manner. Our server was kind, funny and efficient! Couldn’t have asked for better service tbh. We had such a good time here and we were served sooooo much yummy Chinese food, in my opinion, pretty authentic cantonese food!

My (Chinese) mother has been going to this restaurant for nearly 30 years. We went twice this week (lunch and dinner) and it did not disappoint, the beef was super tender and seafood was delicious. The portions are also generous for the price we paid. The place is rather dingy and the waiter is terse but very efficient and has a dry sense of humor. I’d recommend to anyone looking for tasty, authentic Chinese food and cares less about the decor.
