Haven’t had hard stool since Monday when we ordered from here. My daughter, husband and I got sick we ordered lo mein, chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. Rice was 100% day old fries and I’m going to guess so was the rest. We’re all messed up from our stomach

EDIT: 4/8 my daughter and I had diarrhea for awhile week and has been recovering

Hop Hing Kitchen has been a fixture on Park Avenue in Rutherford for decades. It is the textbook definition of a takeout establishment, with no eat in facilities whatsoever. Even with the fact that you have to take your food on the run, their food quality has not dissipated at all. My favorites here are the General Tsos Chicken, steamed mixed vegetables, lo mein and mei fun. Their prices are very comparable to others in the area, and altogether, even though they are a take out to go, it still has its own little charm.

this is a fast place to get good tasting Chinese food. They have a couple of tables. I ate here and the lady was very nice and cleaned up after me . It’s not a sit down place you have to order at the counter and then if you want to sit down or take it to go, you can do that. The food was very good. I was very impressed. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the food is very delicious.

I’m very disappointed. My order of chicken came soaked in oil. I will not order anything there again.

Hit or miss Chinese place, sometimes the food is good, other times not so good. The prices are in line with other Chinese take out places but the e portions are smaller. The lunch special portions keeps getting smaller while the prices keep increasing. I’ve been eating there for 10+ years and the food is inconsistent.

Lady behind the counter was very friendly but the food was overpriced. I called the order in ahead of time I ordered a shrimp fried rice and two spring rolls. When I got there the lady said it was $18! I was taken back by the price a bit but I paid for it anyway because the portions were pretty large. Spring rolls were ok but I was VERY disappointed by the shrimp fried rice it had absolutely no flavor and just chopped onions in it definitely not like most other restaurants where there is actually more to the fried rice like some veggies and even eggs. So I was very disappointed. Would not recommend this place there are so many other Chinese restaurants with good food and better prices.

This is a take out place. Eating there is kinda not the nicest ambiance. I got a large chicken noodle soup for $6.75 and a homemade ice tea. Total was $10.00 Both were good. The soup was not salty at all which I enjoyed.

This place has absolutely nothing special about it! Don’t get me wrong – the portions are generous. They put enough meat and veggies into their dishes (not cutting costs). But all that credibility goes into the trash because there is no taste!! I ordered something tagged as “spicy” on their menu. Forget about spice – that darn dish tastes worse that boiled wheat. Ugh! Won’t come back, ever again…
