I went to Hooters with my grandfather and we were warmly welcomed by a waitress. She asked us how our day was going. My grandfather said “good,” and with a big smile she told him it shouldn’t just be a good day, it should be a wonderful day.

Between the really delicious chicken thighs and the “sunshine” smile of that waitress, our day truly became wonderful.

Thank you for this simple, warm, and cheerful moment!

Stopped into Hooters for a bite and a cold beer. Brought my dog Samantha along, and while pets aren’t allowed inside, the outdoor patio was a perfect covered spot with ceiling fans to help the heat.

Inside, the vibe was laid-back with plenty of TVs showing sports. The place wasn’t packed, which made it easy to unwind. The waitresses were pleasant and engaging, always checking in with a smile and making sure everything was good. Food came out fast, and the beer is COLD.

I ordered wings and an Abita Amber, and they hit the spot. Wings were crispy and flavorful, beer was cold, and the prices were fair. The bathrooms were clean, and I even liked that they had sports news posted inside—something to read while you’re in there. Nice touch.

If you’re looking for a casual, no-fuss place to grab some food and a drink, catch a game, and chat with friendly staff, this Hooters is a dependable stop. Bonus points for being able to kick back outside with my dog.

Side note: I’ve submitted nearly 600 reviews, and my photos and videos have over 17 million views on Google Maps. If this helped, give me a follow—it’s always appreciated!

Our server Daisey was absolutely amazing. She was very friendly, informative and friendly to my wife and I. We wish her luck in her future profession as a nurse.
Unfortunately, Hooters has decided to change their sauce to more of a butter based sauce which doesn’t stick to the wings and therefore you don’t get the flavor in each bite that made them the front runner in the wing business. When cool, the sauce is more like a paste. When warmed, it’s like hot butter.
It’s been a couple of years since we’ve been to a Hooters and if that’s the sauce of the future, we likely won’t be back.

This round it was my sons 7th birthday. Everything was great waitress was on time and prompt. Only one hiccup but I won’t mention. However unless you are prepared to spend money don’t go here. Everything time we’ve went its been $200 or more. And the boneless tenders are small so if you know you can eat 20 wings order double that. My son and I wanted to share the 20 boneless and to my surprise they were tiny bites but self noted

I have been coming here for almost 10 years and this place is like a second home to me. It’s a relaxing place to watch sports, eat and have a drink. ⚾

I have always came here celebrate my birthday. I always like to come here around Halloween and Christmas when the girls dress up in seasonal outfits.

10 yr old daughter’s first time. Loved food. Loved amount of TVs & interior. Looks so nice compared to older Hooters. Love how restaurant circles around bar & it’s a good size. Needed to grab food late last minute for my daughter & one of the few places open & ready to serve. Called a couple other restaurants & diners who were closing the kitchens before closing time or out of most menu items b/c it was end of day. Great To-Go service by Bartender. Said she’s never seen a kid that doesn’t love Hooters No negative attitude like some places when you walk in right before they close. Everyone really nice greetings and goodbyes

Great atmosphere, besides the girl with a terrible attitude behind the bar, I think her name is Kris. She was so so rude. I proceeded to sit there as she was cursing out other bar guests AND employees. Telling them she was going to slap them across the face, when I asked the other guests if she is usually like that they said that’s just how she is. Then she proceeded to catch an attitude with me when I said my fry’s were cold and she huffed and puffed away. Beer was fantastic. Very cold just like the service.

We love Hooters of Slidell and are frequent patrons. I am upset they removed the buffalo chicken ranch dip from the menu, please bring it back soon, thanks.

This place is a joke. Overpriced garbage food, a trashy atmosphere, and a staff that couldn’t care less. There are fast food joints with better service and cleaner dining areas than this place. Save your money and your stomach — go literally anywhere else.
The service was disorganized from the moment we walked in. We waited almost 20 minutes before even being acknowledged, and once we were seated, our server was more interested in chatting with coworkers than checking on customers. When we asked to speak to a manager about the cold food, a clearly irritated manager finally came over, barely listened, offered no apology, and brushed us off like we were the problem. Zero accountability. Zero professionalism. The floor was sticky, the tables weren’t wiped down properly, and the whole place smelled like a bad mix of fryer grease and cheap beer. It felt more like a dingy college frat basement than a restaurant.
