Not the best exerience I’ve ever had, at Hooters or any other restaurant for that matter, but it was quite late on a Sunday night so I’m trying to give the benefit of the doubt. It was not busy, but sitting down to walking out took 2 full hours for my group of 8, which was MUCH longer than expected. We had a long wait for all stages of service, from initial drinks, to ordering, food delivery, and checks brought out. Didn’t get a couple of items (frues and a drink), and the pitcher of beer wasn’t the correct kind (we agreed to take it anyway), but the Daytona wings I got for the first time were awesome!

Hooters is my FAVORITE restaurant ever. Love the fried pickles (literally the best ever) with the spicy dipping sauce. The boneless Spicy Garlic wings are sooo good. That sauce is spicy and delicious. Wish I could buy it in stores. I remember back in high school going every Wednesday for Wing Wednesday and it was a thing for everyone! It would be packed. For my birthday every year this is the place I want to go eat wings and beer. Can’t get any better!

I’m SO disappointed to write this. I’m 100% a large Hooters supporter but everything at this location has gone to crap. Long story short, sat around the bar area with Nora. Unfortunately, the table of 5 gents had drinks and shrimp appetizers before I even got a drink. 2 other tables of 2, literally ate and left before we got our food. Food comes out, and it’s wrong. Ordered all drums.
HERES WHERE THE DEAL BREAKER IS:
I turn around, and the very large cook with one hand in a sling appears to be starring at me. I ignored and turn around. A few seconds later I turn and see him still starring me down. When me make eye contact, he says “you wanted drums or what”, I said sir I ordered all drums. He LITERALLY tossed the aluminum plate across the prep table and walked off. I then motioned for Nora and explained, yea just cancel. I don’t want someone in that rage cooking my food. She was very apologetic saying, omg I’m so sorry about that. Not cool having an intimidating element in the restaurant like that. Then, no visit from a manager? I really hope to god he’s not the manager. I miss Makaya something awful. Hooters Preston is ELIMINATED. I’ll hit Jeffersonville or DuPont going forward.
Pics show dishes being cleared before we even got our food for the table of 5 that came in 5 minutes after us.
Pics also show what was delivered for 6 “all drums”
Pics also show beer that sat 9 minutes before replacement ordered.
So disappointing

Our food was cold and our appetizer came out way after our food. Also I washed the bartender poor our pitcher of beer to let it sit there for over 20 minutes and the serve it to us all loak warm. We had to asked where our pitcher of beer was. I for sure will continue to go to Roster or Drakes for service and food. I was so disappointed!!

I have been eating at Preston Hwy Hooters for more than 30 yrs and today was the end of an era. Food quality was horrible. I ordered 10 medium wings and they came out with no sauce and basically tasted like plain deep fried chicken. Waitress said that was their new buttery wing sauce. Well it is horrible. She did bring me a sample of the sauce for me to dip but it was thick as butter and something other than buffalo sauce. My wife had 10 3-mile wings that were full of dark brown meat caused by cooked blood. Not looking for anything just warning people that the hooters I once knew is gone, along with my patronage

The food and drinks were great! The bartender Brandy was very nice and great company. The manager drew made up some weird story about how Kentucky has laws about having more than 2 large beers per visit. When questioned about the laws he said it’s based off of size and gender but my wife is 120lbs and I’m 270lbs and we were both allowed two large beers then no mixed drinks after that. Overall it was a great experience until the manager came over and started restricting drinks for the entire bar during the Sunday football games. We were staying walking distance from the restaurant. That doesn’t seem like the best policies for a bar. We wish the staff the best and hope this doesn’t affect their business.

Excellent service, tasty food and it came out quickly. The bartender, Summer, was nice to talk to and to look at. This place was well-kept and maintained. The bathrooms were clean!!

I would say if you like dry wings then this is a place for you to go but if you like your wings wet and saucy then this is not the place you want to eat it for wings but other than that everything was great that atmosphere is wonderful the ladies were brilliant and beautiful and I think I just like going there for the ladies.

Brother! This place is way better than last time I was there a few years ago. Chicken was cooked just right, buffalo sauce was as good as I could remembered. I’m telling you if you gave up on this place you need to give it another try. Only way to make it better is to bring back Wing King.

Stopped in for lunch today and we had the best time. Lauren was very friendly and encouraged us to try the smoked wings in their Texas style dry rub. The wings were amazing and served hot and fresh. Our beer was ice cold and delivered quickly made by their amazing bartender Trish! We will definitely be back!!
