Media makes it seem like Hooters died off. Not the case in Florida. Still thriving. Great service last night in Sarasota. Outdoor bartender prompt and smiling. Moved indoors to catch a basketball game. Manager got us setup in about 10 seconds. He stayed on the floor the rest of the night supporting his staff. Server Amy was attentive and smiling all night! Food and drink very good. Restaurant clean and inviting. An overall excellent experience that we wish we could still get in the Midwest!

I’m still in shock after eating here. Our service was excellent. I ordered wings which were really overcooked as they were extremely dry. My wife’s chicken salad was very good and large. What shocked me was I ordered 2 oyster plates of 6 oysters on their happy hour special. They smelled really fishy. They weren’t shucked properly as I had to pull them off with the fork from the shell as they were still attached. I ate one which was disgusting thinking it’s only one that was bad. The second was worse and I’m still tasting them as I write this. Here’s why I’m in shock! I wait for our waitress to return to take them back, expecting a confrontation. When I tell her they stink as they are not fresh, she responds I know I wouldn’t eat them either! She proceeds to tell us not to order them at a Hooters!! When she takes them away she’s making I’m going to puke face more than I who stupidly ate them. I appreciate the waitress for taking them off the bill, as I said she was very good. My thought was, why did you bring them to me if you knew they were bad and why are they selling them if they are going to make someone really sick. So Hooters take them off the menu if this seems like what you are serving on a regular basis before someone doesn’t know any better and really get sick or worse!!!!

I was okay, but unfortunately nothing more. A friend had recommended it, so we went together. He’d been there several times and was usually satisfied. This time, however, the service was rather below average. The waitress seemed more interested in a guest at the next table, our table wasn’t cleared, and empty pitchers were simply left unattended. The food was okay, but nothing exceptional. My friend was also disappointed, because the service and food must have been significantly better.
Apparently, they have new staff here, but they either haven’t been properly trained or don’t really like the job. Which is a shame, because if the food and service are excellent, people will come. Whether the concept still works today or not, everyone appreciates good food and good service.

We came here with her group of six before we went to the movies. The food was fabulous. Especially the shrimp appetizers. The waitresses were lovely. The music was great. Prices were decent. We will definitely be back. Christine was our waitress. She was awesome. I have pictured two amazing cooks.

As a “foodie” it feels weird giving Hooters 5-stars. However, I have never had a bad experience at this location. They even had 1$ blue point oysters at happy hour. The wings are always good, burgers, chix sandwich & fish sandwich are big, Crispy and always consistent. I have always gotten good service too….
I don’t eat at these type of places often, but after the car show, Happy Hour between shopping with my wife or NFL games. It’s the best choice, in my opinion.

My wife and I came up to Sarasota to meet a friend and watch the Dolphins and Patriots game.
My wife and I started out with the cheese sticks. They had a crunchy breading and the cheese was nice and melted. We loved them.
For the main meal, I had the boneless wings with ranch and medium sauce. The wings were ok, but the buffalo sauce was delicious and brought it together. I also got the curly fries and they were seasoned well, and tasted fresh.
My wife had the chicken wrap and she thought it was really good. She also got the medium sauce on it, which wasn’t really hit at all, but tasted great.
The staff was on point and hustling during opening to the NFL regular season. We had Taylor and she was on top of everything; refilling our waters and making sure we were never without our beers and mixed drinks. She did a great job with our table today.
