I recently visited Hooters and had a mixed experience. The food was actually surprisingly good, and it felt like they’ve gone back to their older recipe, which was a nice improvement and definitely the highlight of the visit. The wings and overall quality were solid and better than I expected.
However, the service at the bar was pretty disappointing. The bartender seemed very distracted and spent a noticeable amount of time on her phone, constantly checking it while working. It gave the impression that her phone was more important than the customers. She also seemed more focused on chatting and gossiping with a guest or friend rather than paying attention to people at the bar who were trying to order food or drinks.
She also had a book with her and was moving at a very slow pace, which made the service feel even less attentive. Overall, it felt like she didn’t really want to be there, which affected the experience quite a bit.
If you’re planning to visit, I’d recommend sitting at a table rather than the bar, because the bar service was not great. That said, the food itself is worth trying, and it’s good to see the recipe quality improving again.

I had a great experience at Hooters Doral. I came by myself, and from the moment I arrived, I felt very comfortable and welcomed.
Jasmine was absolutely amazing — kind, attentive, and full of positive energy. She made sure I was well taken care of the entire time and made my visit feel easy and enjoyable. Her customer service truly stood out and made my night much better.
The atmosphere was fun, the service was excellent, and everything was handled professionally. I would definitely recommend Hooters Doral, especially if you’re looking for great service and a friendly environment.

Terrible experience from start to finish.
We arrived at 3:45 PM and were told to seat ourselves. With a 1-year-old, we chose a table in the back. That section was split between two servers, yet we sat for nearly 20 minutes with no greeting, no drinks, and no acknowledgment until I had to get a manager. The lack of communication between staff was obvious — another server working nearby could have easily alerted her coworker.
Our server, Melanie, did apologize for the delay, but by 4:30 PM everyone in my party had food except me. That’s unacceptable.
The food made it worse. We ordered fish and chips, wings, and a Philly cheesesteak. Everything was overly greasy and low quality. I’m still dealing with stomach pain today.
Poor service, poor coordination, and disappointing food. We won’t be back.

I usually don’t do reviews about fast food restaurants, but this time, I’ll make an exception. The food was great, wings crispy and hot, our server Laurie was EXCELLENT. She was coming back to the table asking if we needed something, if everything was good, she was on point all the time. Beer was cold, and the atmosphere was great. Great place to enjoy with friends and family. OUTSTANDING SERVICE.

I don’t know where to begin. This use to be the spot but absolutely definitely not anymore. I recommend going somewhere else. The server Roxana was already upset when we arrived because she was hot and alone outside. They even brought in a DJ but for what it’s horrible. They also remove tables to accommodate the DJ, so that already take away tables. Now I understand why they are closing other Hooters. Food came out 1 by 1, drinks mediocre. TV screens are outdated and all screens are dirty. Our check holder is held together by a hooters sticker. They even had on FIFA game. It was even busy.

We went to hooters after shopping in Walmart, we were greeted and asked to sit wherever we wanted, We chose to sit indoors. For the first 15-20 minutes no server came to our table, one server saw us guys confused and mentioned our server will be back soon and took our drink order. 5 minutes later the actual server showed up and no greetings, no smile, no apologies just took our food order and disappeared. We were sitting at a table where we see our food sitting on the bar, but the server was busy talking to her friend. We were not expecting luxury service, we were just there for quick wings and beer. The food sat there for more than 10 minutes and she decided to drop the food on the tables as if she don’t care, and the food was cold, fries were not crispy. Our plates were picked up after 15 minutes sitting ready to be picked up. Long story short, terrible experience. Will never return to this location!

Let me explain something very clear to management and their team (particularly the ladies in the front): communication is everything for your establishment. No party (big or small) should have to wonder for over an hour when they’re going to be seated. I understand high peak nights but at some point, when you know you have a larger party waiting to be served and they’ve been waiting for an hour, offer a recommendation. It’s not hard to say WITHOUT AN ATTITUDE “hey, I know it’s been a long wait and I apologize for that, would you all mind being split up so we can get you all seated? If not it’s going to be a bit longer of a wait in order for us to get you all together, especially because there’s a game happening now.” You know what this does, it gives customers an option. They can split, wait, or leave. You offer this way sooner than an hour because now you’re getting angry and hungry customers looking for an update because you haven’t communicated not once. Customers shouldn’t have to continuously come up to you for an update. Your waitlist means nothing if you’re not referring to it. Hooters has good food, I’m not concerned with the food but an attitude problem will flip a switch for the whole environment. It’s frustrating for everyone I’m sure, but you’re the restaurant with the process and the customer ain’t seeing that process work. Make it work.

PS. Now I have to make an update because there was a big roach in the booth they sat us at….and unfortunately, the food wasn’t as good as I had hoped tonight (pictures look better than it tasted). Let me get specific about the manager though. Jason had a very snarky and dismissive tone, that had me ready to match his energy. He did not care and he made it clear that he didn’t, he said “he has nothing to hide, you can’t do nothing to me, you can call whoever,” so I will make sure I do just that. Your attitude sucks and it shows me your inability to lead a team effectively. I can guarantee you are not the example of what Hooters expects out of you in their establishment. Definitely a failed trip this evening, will likely not come back. Truly dissappointed. From the look of the other reviews, attitude, mismanagement, and seating seem to be a common problem at this location.
PSS. Not all was bad, because I will say my waitress Lauren was good. I enjoyed her personality through the entire experience and I made sure I communicated that with her. Giving flowers where they are due is equally as important. Thank you for being the ray of sunshine in this place.

We ordered appetizer 10 minutes before entree. As entree, we wanted the original plus the smoked wings. They didnt have the smoked.
Our entree came first and shortly after the appetizer, so we had sliders with fries and all wings at once at our table.
We had two sauces but one only filled half so we asked for more. Never arrived at our table. Waitress never came by to ask if everything is okay, neither she apologized for the appetizer or sauce.
Wings were okay, sliders were dry. 50+ bucks is way to expensive for that experience.

The music was very very loud, asked the manager lower it twice and it still had us screaming. They played a random mix of music which included a heavy rotation of heavy rock songs. The atmosphere was the absolute worst. DO NOT come here if you want to talk to people that you’ve come to dinner with. Go right across the street to flanigans!
