Hooters

Social Profile:

The first Hooters opened October 4, 1983, in Clearwater, Florida. The Original Six founders were quickly detained for impersonating restaurateurs, but fortunately for America, they were soon allowed to go about their business.During its history, the Hooters concept has remained true to its roots. The current logo, uniform, menu and ambiance are all very similar to what existed in the original store. This consistency is understandable given Hooters continued success and high ranking amongst the industry’s growth leaders.

I’ve been to many Hooters and I’ve experienced a wide range of taste and atmosphere conditions.
The KOP Hooters is at one of the best Hooters. Kudos to the staff and Frank the manager on duty.

This summer on monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays they have all you can eat wings for $19.83 with purchase of beverage. They start you off with 10 wings of your choice of sauce and you can get them either naked or breaded, then it’s 5 or 6 each refill that follows. All you can eat also comes with a large basket of curly fries which is cool, but don’t fill up on them while you wait for your wings to come. They are great as a pallet cleanser though; three wings in a row then maybe a fry or two then. get back to getting your wing on.

I got all my wings naked and not breaded so I can put down more. I also had a side of blue cheese, which lasted me almost until the end of my last plate.

I tried the garlic hot, which was the best one of the night and my first 10. Don’t let the four pepper spice rating for you which is the highest tied with like nuclear Buffalo or something, these had a great flavor with a little kick but I probably could have ate these the whole time. The dry rub lemon pepper were okay, because the wings were nice and crispy but actually lacked a bit of the lemon flavor I was looking for. I actually took the lemon wedge out of my diet coke and squirted it on them and they immediately became a lot better.

The Daytona flavor is like a barbecue, mixed with hot sauce, mixed with a bit of honey, and maybe a little soy in there. Don’t get it confused with the Daytona style wings which is the same sauce but the wings get finished on the grill. That wasn’t available for the all you can eat. My last flavor was the samurai teriyaki, which was basically a spicy teriyaki sauce…it was pretty good. I would definitely recommend the garlic hot as a must have, the Daytona and samurai as ones that take flyers on for your round of 5/6 wings, and if you do get the lemon pepper I mean I guess ask for some lemon wedges or extra seasoning (but that may lead to you just getting a whole lot more black pepper just to get a little bit of lemon flavor so beware).

Service was good overall (kinda fell off at the end) and everyone even the non our section waitresses said hello or smiled to us (yes…I know it might be an act, friendliness is friendliness!). We each got the all you can eat plus a drink each and after tax it came out to like $52. We each had 25 to 27 wings, so certainly got our money’s worth when you consider 10 wings is like $16.99. are waitress boxed up are curly fries too since we hardly touch them which was nice.

Compared to my local Hooters this is a great step up. The staff are beautiful but at times they can be a little slow/distracted when talking to the regulars. I’ve been here a couple of times now and this does seem to happen, especially with the bar staff.
Overall, I will say that it is well run. It is generally clean although the bathroom is a hot humid sweatbox (they do have large fans blowing but it isn’t great).
When I’m in the area, I definitely enjoy visiting this location.

Fist time visiting Hooters last week , casual atmosphere with a lively sports bar vibe. The wings are flavorful and consistently good, and the menu has solid options for classic bar food. Service is usually friendly and energetic, making it a good spot to watch a game or hang out with friends. It can get noisy and busy at peak times, but overall it’s an enjoyable experience and a reliable choice for casual dining and sports

Hooters wings have been my favorite since I was a kid. They recently changed the sauce recipe they use and it’s gross. What marketing guru decided that the place that’s famous for wings should change their wings? Everything else is fine, even the watered down blue cheese has become good to me.

I visit Hooters with my son and dad often. I was told today buffalo chicken wings recipe changed recently, and that now they are very lightly sauced. The wings we got today were dry, and we had to ask for extra sauce to get mild buffalo sauce on them. Disappointed since that is the main reason we like the wings, for the sauce, but now it’s extra, since wings are dry of sauce.

Me and the wife miss having a Hooters close to home so we visit when we can. This stop did not disappoint. Wings just like I remembered. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only down side was the chairs needed some maintenance. They were very wobbly. Just take someone an hour to go thrunamd tighten them up with a cordless impact driver. Otherwise a great visit. Thank you.
