I would consider this an old school classic diner with a big variety of food. You can get Falafal, a burger or a lamb (or chicken) gyro and plenty of others. It’s in an old Pizza Hut and I’m pretty certain the original booths and tables are still in it. You order at the counter and at 2 pm for lunch we walked right up to order. Not the case if you go around noon so be prepared for a short wait. We had the lamb gyros with crispy, hot French fries seasoned with some Lowry’s. Probably over salted the fries but they were still very good. The owner works behind the counter and in the kitchen. That sealed the deal for me to keep coming back. Great food!

It’s a small place, not a chain. Reasonable value for the gyro plate. Gonna get get 2 small meals out of it. Taste was good. Portions was fine. Not exceptional, but very good. The bread was lacking to me, not sure why they sliced it up and it seemed thin to me, but taste was good. I kinda get the feeling they are resting on their previous laurels. Maybe just an off day. But a 4 on an off day ain’t bad at all.

One of the better cheeseburger options around town good menu with American and a Mediterranean flair especially the dessert like the bougotsa.

Had a nice lunch here! The food is good, especially the fries and whatever seasoning they put on there. The ceiling was very low in this location, and the music could’ve been quieter. Overall though the service was quick and the food was satisfying for the price, so I can definitely recommend Hooligans!

Never had a bad meal here. Everything is always fresh, consistent, and a healthier option. One of the most reliable spots in Tuscaloosa.

Local hidden gem for Mediterranean food. Casual family dinning feel.
The best baklava hands down!

It’s a nice enough place. Simplistic but nice. I got the combination platter which was the highest priced dish yet I still could have eaten more. Being Mediterranean it seems bland against most dishes from the south. My spouse had a burger and it was fair. Probably not a place I will return to.

A Tuscaloosa institution. Family-owned. You can be sure that whatever you order, quality will be delivered every time. The wrap combos and cheeseburgers are crowd favorites, but it’s the plates – the kofta, the chicken salad plate, the falafel plate – that are the true gems.

Great people. Great food.

Food was bland and tasted like it came from a can. Was excited to try this place as I was told that it was where the locals eat gyros. Big baba ghanoush fan but could not eat what I was given. Just not good food at all.

Place was empty and the people weren’t the friendliest but they were fast.
