Low key and right on the water where it’s fun to watch a variety of birds and boats come and go. Full menu (including vegetarian items), ice cold beer and excellent service. Charla always made sure my pup and I had everything we needed. If I lived closer I’d be a regular. Great find in Ruskin!

Brought in our fresh catch off a charter boat. They cooked it up (fied, grilled or blackened) and included sides (fries and slaw) for a very reasonable price. Fish was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. Service was fast and friendly. Great way to end a day on the water!

I absolutely love visiting Hooks! The staff is always friendly and attentive, and the food is consistently cooked to perfection. The atmosphere captures the true essence of Florida—relaxed and scenic. You can enjoy a delicious meal while overlooking a beautiful waterway that leads to Tampa Bay.
I highly recommend this spot and always look forward to returning. I don’t own a boat, but if I did, I’d definitely take advantage of their dock. And their fish and chips? They’re the closest I’ve found to authentic New England style—crispy, flavorful, and unforgettable.

The food and service was fantastic. I ordered the fish and chips and my wife had the buccaneer burger both were absolutely delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a great meal and fantastic service.

Most fried food – I don’t go to bars … and they don’t have crab cake that day . We ordered the big plate of fried seafood – calamari shrimp – they’re good. I’ve chips and tails (?) … more fried food – they taste good but I always feel unsettling afterward. Oh well, the view is great
They don’t have deck hand – park on your own. The water level is low, (global warming?) so makes it in and out of boat a bit more difficult.
Women’s bathroom – you need to pull the door knob really hard to open it.

Horrible service , I brought in a 2/3 a quart bag of fish for my wife and I to have them cook. They told me I needed to pay for 3 because their portion size is 3 oz. Then I didn’t even get the fish I brought. Everything came out in symmetrical sizes. I filleted my fish and there were different sized fish and species nothing was the same. After standing for 10 minutes someone finally asked me if I needed help. I said I wanted a table all the tables were dirty with dishes on them i was told to just find a table. After 10 minutes I cleaned the table myself and then the waitress finally came back. Nothing but a train wreck!
