Hook and Fish is hands down one of the best spots I’ve been to for a great meal! I’ve had the pleasure of dining here twice now—once for dinner and once for lunch—and both experiences were absolutely fantastic. The food is fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
The perch is an absolute must-try. It’s crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside, and seasoned just right. You can tell it’s made with care and expertise. And the Phil Steak? Easily one of the best I’ve had—juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked exactly how I like it. Every bite was delicious!
Beyond the food, the hospitality here is top-notch. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure every guest feels right at home. They’re attentive without being overbearing, and you can tell they genuinely care about providing a great experience. Whether you’re coming in for a casual lunch or a nice dinner, you’ll be treated like family.
The atmosphere is also a great bonus—comfortable, inviting, and perfect for any occasion. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or settling in for a relaxing meal, Hook and Fish delivers on all fronts.

Do not eat here this place is trash worst tasting catfish I ever put in my mouth couldn’t even finish one nugget way over priced for flavorless food should have caught on when I seen the sign on the fountain drinks the owner is clearly miserly and has no clue how to run a decent restaurant … Zero out of ten do not recommend……

This road side fish and chicken place was a great little find. This place has great gyros too. The dinning room, counter and tables outside were neat and clean. I had the gyro and my husband had the Philly cheese wrap. Both were super tasty and all in all this was a better stop than the usual fast food located all around this highway stop.

$50 for a tasteless dinner. The fries were not edible and the catfish bites tasted like nothing. The chicken was a 3 on a 10 point scale for flavor. This is the greatest disappointment in West Chester. If I could give a negative 1000, I would.

Nice little place, was very busy when I went for lunch. Friendly staff , helped me with my selection, got the gyro lunch special. Was some wait for the food, but well worth it. Fresh and hot, the gyro was very good size. Enjoyed the food and the dinner style atmosphere. Service was on the slow side, but food was great. Will be back.

9/4 I get the same thing every time i go… 4 piece cod meal (I only eat fish meat). Got greens, okra & no dessert.

The chicken was decent and it was way overly salty. The fries were old chewy and not salty at all. The mac and cheese was literally soup… its almost like they used water in it instead of milk or cheese. Threw it away instantly. I hate to say it, but it’s literally the worst mac & cheese I’ve ever had in my life.
The pizza pocket was good and the peach cobbler was good. Unfortunately the cobbler was served cold.
I will change this review if the management decides to make this right by comping this entire meal and paying for my next meal to come back.
