This one is definitely not as good as the hooked on sushi in Carlsbad or Encinitas. Multiple times I’ve been served sushi that was not fresh with noticable fishy odor and taste. Lower quality but same price.From now on I will just drive a little further to the one in Carlsbad.

So amazing !! The sushi here is outstanding! The sashimi slices are thick, beautifully presented, and incredibly fresh. Everything looks just as good as it tastes. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get—truly great value. I’ve been a regular here for years, and I don’t usually write reviews, but this place is so good that I had to share. Highly recommend!

I came here the first time hungry after a long day of moving with my Wife. We were pleasantly surprised to say the least.
First let’s talk price, as for sushi and quantity of fish we are getting. We opted the first time for a 3 item Combo with about 12 choices, of which 3 require an additional $1-2.50. We opted for the Salmon Teriyaki upgrade for one.
We waited for about 15 minutes which is in line with cooking a Salmon on a low heat fire grill to keep it moist and when we jumped back in the car. My wife smiled because the salmon was perfectly cooked, marinated, rice, extra sauce and grilled veggie bed was amazing a bit charred.
The Combo also came with a soup which was given a healthy dose of miso with some tofu it.
As to the rolls, we got the California Roll and the Crunchy Roll. Both of these were proper rolls with great texture and smooth melt in your mouth fillings.
I have come back one more time once again after a long day but I hope to sit down and enjoy this meal soon and I will update this review.

Keep driving a little further to the In & Out Burger in the same parking lot. This place is bad. Smells like cleaning supplies and somehow still rotten food when you walk in. Waiter forgets your order and if you order a $12 margarita they crack open an aluminum can and dump the contents into this shot glass. Sushi is gross and no one is happy to be working here.

Eating sushi here was an exceptional experience! The restaurant had a fantastic selection of rolls and specialties. The salmon, yellowtail, and tuna hand rolls were especially amazing, each bursting with flavor and freshness. It was definitely a memorable dining experience. The service by Matilda, was amazing and the chef was fast and amazing.

I had a to-go lunch. The sashimi was the worst I have ever had. And the crunchy roll was fake. The salad: greens were brown!
I had cheap sushi before but this was just a joke. And guess what? We didn’t have soy sauce with 2 to-go lunches! Congratulations.

The atmosphere is different here than the other location in Carlsbad, less restaurant vibe, more of a quick lunch vibe. But we ordered the same things we usually get and they tasted just as good. We went on a Saturday night and it was pretty dead, the Carlsbad location would have been pretty crowded.

Just had TNT & super Mario sushi rolls they were so delicious. TNT rolls had crispy fried onions on top. The lady at the counter was knowledgeable and very helpful in picking these yummy rolls.

The service is great here. We walked in, greeted and sat at a table. The server Chie was fantastic and attentive. I ordered an appetizer, tempura vegetables and Golden Gate. I like this location better than the Encinitas as the atmosphere, server and service were awesome!!Fast too..
