Rochester take note please as a Google Reviewer with as of Today reaching A yes 100,000 Reviews this by far is the BEST ENDING 2025., upon entering the RESTAURANT the ATMOSPHERE of Holiday cheer Spirit of CHRISTMAS WAS IN THE BUILDING OH YEA NOT KNOWING THE OWNER WAS CHECKING ME OUT CHECKING THIS WELL POLISHED EXTREMELY BEFITTING RESTAURANT NOT ONLY DID IT SAY WE HOOK IT & WE COOK IT. I came in today for the first time. The staff/owner was very welcoming. The customer service was impeccable, right when we walked in. The menu was clear and straightforward. But the food y’all… OMG!!! If you got a big back like me, go and get you some food from here. I’ve been around trying a lot food from Rochester but here? Right off the bat I knew the vibes were right.
I got a catfish special with baked mac and cheese, dirty rice and baked beans and my boyfriend got the haddock special. Let me tell you, it tastes just like home. Also, don’t forget to get y’all something sweet. Their coconut and lemon cake, to die for. Go and give them your support! By the way, all next week they’re having wings for $1.

I ordered the fish and shrimp combo. The fish was no flavor. The shrimp was over fried. The fries was the only thing good. The coleslaw I had was all hot because they put it in the container big chunks of coleslaw. There’s no love in the food package, tartar, sauce, package cocktail sauce. I seen it on the news. This time I happened to catch the chef in the front of the store .
Him and roc took great care of me and my husband , my mom and her friends.
My 1st trip I ended up getting about 6 meals by mistake cuz everything was delicious!!
I returned about 5 days of my 6 day visit .
Fresh fish and hand crafted sides – dirty rice – baked beans – Mac and cheese.
The sides are enough on their own but fresh fried fish too .
Each day it was something different , octopus- salmon fries – salmon bites – shrimp and grits like I’ve never ever had !!
Trust me it’s something on this menu for EVERY palate.
Home made cake – like who the heck makes butter pecan cake !!!!
Customer service literally A-1 , black owned and operated makes a huge difference but besides that the food is actually amazing and fair priced .
If ur reading this trust me and go tell them the greedy girl from Atl sent you !

Been wanting to go hear since I heard about it back open on radio. So I went to get the cat fish dinner with bake beans dirty rice , and Mac and cheese.. cost me $24 the cat fish was huge Mac and cheese was delicious back bean was sweet just like I like it and bake beans was sweet but not too sweet. Only thing was need more sides to go with big cat fish lol but great place

I have waited my entire life for a fish Market with cooked fish dinners of such high quality and freshness. There’s no need to go anywhere else in Rochester. The Owner emits pride and respect into his service and the food is infused with quality. They offer great portions and turned up the heat on the competition by offering more for your money. My fish dinner came with 3 sides and I mean that made all the difference. They serve the customer what the customer wants to eat, not like the other places that serve whatever comes from behind the counter.
Parking is a true hassle and the only thing someone could legitimately have an issue with. My only problem is I don’t live next door cause I’d eat their food faithfully. The fact that this business stands behind and contributes to the community is enough on its own to support this business. The food is a bonus. Great Job!.., looking forward to an east side location.

I ordered for the first time today and the food did not disappoint! I had Fried Battered Haddock, Baked Beans, Macaroni and Cheese, and Dirty Rice all for ONLY $24 and it was delicious! The Mac and Cheese was ! I will definitely be ordering again!!

Let me tell you something, I never thought I’d like salmon until, I tried their loaded salmon fries which was such a different delicious taste I’m hooked. I also ordered the hooked experience fresh n hot everytime their food is worth every penny. Even tho my delivery driver caused my fries to be everywhere they were bussing. Definitely will buy again n again n again
