Great views, friendly and welcoming staff and atmosphere, really unique and considered menu and every mouthful was a flavour sensation! I never normally eat oysters but was so intrigued by the pairing of rosewater and jalapeño peppers…..it did not disappoint! Also love, that for a very affordable price, you can try just one if you like. My husbands steak was ‘melt in the mouth’ tender and the mocktail/beer choice was really well thought out too. Don’t walk past without going in!! We almost walked past as we couldn’t see it was open but so glad we did.
We had the fixed priced lunch menu and a couple of glasses of wine. The quality of the food and wine was unreal. The Sea bass, the steak and the cheesecake. Highly recommended.

Great food and service from every member of the team. Delicious food really well prepared, the sea bass was the highlight. The Prix Fixe was great value and had a great choice for veggies, fish and meat eaters. Hope to visit again.

What a find! This was seriously good cooking: the scallops with smoked mussel butter will live long in the memory. A warm welcome, excellent wine, very reasonable pricing, great views across to Castle Cornet: I was so impressed I had dinner at Hook twice in four days. Highly recommended.

Called in on the off-chance, Mid week so quiet but the food was exquisite and the service was on another level. It wasn’t cheap, if you want that go elsewhere.

On short notice I took my fiancée here for her birthday which was Christmas Eve. The manager squeezed us in with a lovely table despite being very busy.
The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly during from the moment we walked in the door.
The food was faultless and very reasonably priced considering the high quality and generous portions.
We’ll definitely be returning when back on the Island next and highly recommend visiting if you’ve not already been!

So as of June 2024, Hook underwent a change of concept and is different to what it used to be.
The sushi is gone and the new concept is a tapas style, small dish type of dining.
First time here post re-opening. Service is great, casual atmosphere with great staff.
Food is a combo of snack style bites, small cold and hot starter portions and some mains. Overall I find this style of dining more expensive as I’ve got a decent appetite.
Steak tartare was very nice, Octopus Ceviche, monk fish.
2 of us, no alcohol, inc 10% top, circa £72pp, no dessert but we got a good selection of things to try.

Excellent venue with a chic, funky atmosphere. Very welcoming and the local fresh food is absolutely FANTASTIC!!! A flavour sensation! The waiters were so knowledgeable and attentive, explaining the menu and where the produce was from and what complimented what combinations. Delightful and I highly recommend xx We
