I’ve been to a few of the locations around Suburban MD and enjoyed every one of them. Seafood is fresh and always perfectly prepared. Had oysters this last time as well as different steamers and truly enjoyed. Server was actively checking on us and was fun, making this a great lunch experience.

I came here after the storm with my friends for lunch and let me tell you I’m so glad I did, when I walked in the smelled hit me like a ton of bricks it smelled so good in there, had my mouth watering before I could even get sat, when me and my friends got sat as we were walking to the table we asked the host Kamyra about the process and how does the process works given that this was our first time she broke it down in details and made it easier for us to order now I feel like a seafood boil pro!

After the storm, my family and I decided to stop by Hook & Reel, and I’m so glad we did. Despite what I’m sure was a long and stressful day for the staff, the service was absolutely amazing.
Danielle went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. She was kind, patient, attentive, and had such a positive attitude that truly made our experience special. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out in a timely manner, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed.
It’s not easy providing great service during challenging times, but Danielle and the team did an outstanding job. We truly appreciated the hospitality and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

The bartenders were very professional and had excellent customer service and when I asked for suggestions they didn’t disappoint! A really great Cajun spot northeast of Baltimore just off of 695. The seafood boil is the way to go. Most of the them come with three proteins, corn and potatoes. Most seasoning can be hit or miss, but they do it right here every time. Some of the best I’ve had. Also, if you like fried fish, the fried catfish is phenomenal. Happy Hour is seven days a week from 2-6. The service is also outstanding. We’ve been here twice with two different servers and both were exceptional. If you love seafood, give this place a try.

So highly disappointed we will never be back. Got the AYCE seafood it was so over cooked the snow crabs were complete mush. I waited well over 30 minutes for my drink and had to ask 3 times for it.Our waiter was too busy making deals in the bathroom with some weirdo selling stuff out of his book-bag to put our order in correctly. The manager sat at a table playing on his phone for 2 hours. The bartender in purple was helping herself to a cocktail and chit chatting. I watched her pour over a 14 count in multiple people’s drinks. 2 were sent back instead of remaking them correctly, she added ice and blended them again. Overall bad bad bad all around. It’s most likely empty because most of the staff was sitting playing on their phones collecting a gratuity they didn’t deserve. He didn’t bother emptying our trash even once.
