Nice and clean atmosphere with good customer service. John was very polite and professional! The fish po’boy sandwich with the house sauce is really good! Also, the sweet potato waffles fries are good as well! Both not over or undercooked with a good crisp crunch to it. Especially the fish! We usually order to go but I can’t imagine the sit in being anything different. Would definitely recommend, thanks!

Great experience from start to finish! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The seasoning was on point, and the portions were more than enough. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. The atmosphere was fun and comfortable. Definitely one of the best seafood spots in Philly. I’ll be back for sure!

Yesterday was the second time me and my lady have went to hook n reel and the food was great this time we got the reel catch bag with the lobster tail it was amazing and the waiter is always on point and super chill his name is indy dont know if I’m spelling it right sorry bro but super cool guy would recommend them any day 10/10 for everything . I’ll be going back again see you guys next week

Jenny was a great waitress. Very attentive, and on top of all of the needs of the table.
The hook and reel seasoning was good, but was missing something. I cant quite put my finger on it. The crab bites we ordered as an appetizer were good. The sauce was good.

Today my friend and I went to this restaurant. The wait was initially 45 min due to high volume on Valentine’s Day, that wait ended up being over an hour. We asked to sit at the bar and were told that it would be the same wait to sit at a table even though there were seats available. Once we were finally seated, the wait explained the kitchen was overwhelmed with in house and take out orders, and our seafood would be an additional 30-40 min wait while any fried foods would be faster. We ordered our appetizers and the waiter asked if I wanted to make my wings all flats. I specifically asked if it would cost extra and he assured me it would not. When we got the bill we were charged for the all flats. I never asked for all flats he suggested it. The whole experience was just not good. The food however was good, the service was not though.
