Amazing! Danny our server was excellent. Very attentive and very informative with the food selections. We had the Oyster basket, poboy chicken and poboy flounder sandwich, calamari and black mussels boil in lemon paper. Super tasty, cooked to perfection. My boyfriend and I went out to eat for Valentine’s Day, and even though it was very busy, everything was still amazing. Jose, our server, did a great job! He was very attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. He checked on us often without making us feel rushed, and his positive attitude really made our experience even better. The food was delicious, We truly appreciate the great service and will definitely be coming back!

First of all ask for Wilson when you go! He literally gives the best service. He’s so warm, friendly and very accommodating. I absolutely enjoyed having him as my server! Secondly, the food is always great here. Fresh oysters that were plump, full, vibrant, they were so delicious. The new Zealand mussels cooked to perfection, crab legs plenty, shrimp so, sooo delicious and they have the BEST secret sauce (make sure you order that) This is my fave hook & reel spot and I’ve been to the others in NY. This one in Yonkers takes the cake. I almost forgot to speak about the drinks, I always order a mango or strawberry daiquiri and I’m always pleased. 10/10 for flavor and 10/10 for the alcohol amount. I just love it here. The food is great, ambiance is great. Service is great. Wilson is? GREATT!!

Had such a great experience at Hook & Reel tonight. Nas was seriously amazing — so friendly, attentive, and just genuinely kind. You can tell he actually cares about customers and making sure you’re taken care of. He made the whole vibe feel welcoming and fun.
George, the manager, was just as great. Super professional, checked in on everything, and really went above and beyond. They both truly hooked me up and made sure everything was perfect.

Found what appeared to be a worm/parasite inside my seafood. I stopped eating immediately and showed management. The manager tried to tell me it was a “vein,” which was clearly inaccurate. No one apologized or showed concern—staff stood at a distance and stared instead. Very concerning response to a serious food safety issue. Photos and videos were taken. Stay safe everybody
