I had a great experience thanks to our amazing server, Autumn. From the moment we sat down, they were friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. She knew the menu well, offered great recommendations, and checked in often without being overbearing. Everything came out perfectly, and her positive attitude truly added to the whole dining experience. You can tell she cares about her work and making customers feel valued. Parking lot has plenty of parking. The catfish poboy and the loaded fries (I added creabmeat to the fries) are the beat combo. The drinks are good its pretty spacious. The seats are all padded and actually comfortable huge TRIPPLE double plus. If your trying to just vybe out there’s tvs all over the place so you’ll be entertained. My server Nely G was pretty awsome so that added to my experience.

Hi. Ordered take out for the first time from this restaurant. My kid had eaten there before.
The menu has nicely priced options and a variety so those of us who didn’t want a boil were able to order something to enjoy.
The shellshocker is a good size and price for my teen. She ordered is with seasoned butter, mild. It was a little bland for me but she enjoys it.
My husband ordered wings and shrimp fried rice. The wings were well cooked and had nice seasoning. No heat though. The rice was tasty.
I ordered the nicely priced salmon fillet with plain fried rice. The cost was about $25. The fried rice was good & salmon was overcooked; it was bland and dry. They should include a lemon wedge or a seasoning option- a suggestion. An entree size is usually 6-9 oz. I received a 3-4 oz portion. I called the restaurant to ask if this was an error as it was very small and sent them a picture with the fork next to it for reference. The very polite young man explained that his manager stated that is the size of their salmon entree portion- It was not a mistake. Yikes! I kNow for next time not to order it for dinner. Nicely priced but honestly it’s just not an entree. Maybe they should add the size to the menu and consider packaging it with the rice so it doesn’t look so small too. Lol

The food is real tasty and if you get the right wait staff you’re in luck. Have been there several times and kept getting the same girl who was not helpful and appeared to not like her job. I finally spoke with a manager asked for a different server and got Witney. She was so helpful and informative about the menu and options. We were never told we could get a choice of soup or salad as a side dish with our meal until she informed us of choices that were not listed on the very simplistic menu. The clam chowder and Lobster chowder are out of this world!!! So delicious. We had been told the only option was fries or sweet potatoes by the other server over the 3+ times were dined there.
Moral of the story is, if you get rude or a lazy server, either ask to be moved to another table or request a different server. The food was good, average prices. Soft drinks are very expensive.

Autumn was absolutely wonderful! She was kind, patient, and attentive throughout our entire visit. Her warm personality made us feel welcome, and she handled everything with such grace and professionalism. It’s not often you come across someone who genuinely enjoys providing great service, but Autumn truly goes above and beyond. Highly recommend asking for her if you’re dining here you won’t be disappointed!

I’m really disappointed with my recent experience at Hook & Reel. I placed a pickup order on Valentine’s Day and drove 25 minutes, expecting the same quality I usually receive since I order from here often. Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I’ve had.
I do want to mention that the young lady who took my order over the phone, Jimabel, was very sweet and patient while I was trying to figure out what I wanted. Her customer service was great, and I truly appreciated that.
However, the food did not match the service. The seafood was not fresh at all. The sauce was watery, the seafood was mushy, and the snow crab leg shells were soft, which is definitely not how they should be. The shrimp were also soft and mushy. It honestly felt like the food had been sitting for a while.
I’ve always enjoyed ordering from here, which is why this was so surprising and disappointing. I’m hoping this was just an off day, but it definitely ruined what was supposed to be a nice Valentine’s Day meal. 🙁

5 stars all the way. I wish I had noted my table servers name so I could post it here. But he was absolutely phenomenal. It was my wife’s birthday and she had a blast with the quality and quantity of the food. After 2 years of sucky birthday seafood dinners for my wife, we finally hit the seafood jackpot near us with absolutely delightful service. Thank you !!

I had such a great time at Hook & Reel! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out hot — exactly how seafood should be. But what really made my visit stand out was the service. Autumn, the bartender, was amazing! She was friendly, attentive, and made the best drinks — perfectly balanced and full of flavor. She made sure I was taken care of the entire time and brought great energy to the bar. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does.
