I’d give this place 5 stars all the way around, but the lady trying to sell us pictures was a mild turn off. That said, the food and entertainment here were out of this world amazing! The live DJ was so much fun too. Don’t let the picture lady turn you off from going though. The food and entertainment are still worth the uncomfortable conversation of declining a $25 picture in a dollar store picture frame.

From the moment we sat down, Kim was absolutely amazing. She was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made sure we understood the menu, gave great recommendations, and checked on us at all the right times without ever making us feel rushed. It’s clear she truly cares about giving her customers a great experience.
Our drinks stayed full, the food came out perfectly, and Kim made the whole meal feel fun and relaxed. Her positive energy and professionalism really stood out. It’s not often you come across a server who goes above and beyond the way she did.

Cami and Gabby at the bar were great hosts. Ate crab and shrimp like a savage and only needed 5 napkins, 2 wet wipes, and a trip to the sink to clean up after. The Shell Shocker boil was very filling and included potatoes and corn. Will definitely be back.

What really stood out was her energy and personality. She made us feel like VIPs the entire time. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests having a great experience. Even when the restaurant got busy, she stayed on top of everything with a smile and great attitude.

I recently visited Hook & Reel and had a great overall experience. The food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can really tell they take pride in their seafood. The atmosphere was also great, with a fun and lively vibe that makes it a nice place to relax and enjoy your meal.
Service was okay. I just didn’t find our server to be very attentive to the table, and we had to look around a few times when we needed something. That said, the quality of the food and the overall ambiance definitely made up for it.

EVA was our server and she was lovely and helpful with the menu items, especially since my mom does not like seafood and only came out to support me; Eva was really fast and efficient and quick and I completely appreciated her service and would definitely recommend anyone who goes here to have her as a server 100%.
