Both ladies inside were extremely friendly and the club sandwich was awesome. My husband could barely get his mouth over it. Don’t order one if you’re not real hungry. Will definitely eat here again.

Good food good location.Their Chicken Fry was thick and good not so tender though. Their ham steak was thick and yummy.But this time there was ppl already seated I seen in the window as we was walking in. We ordered drinks and our food . Later I heard those same ppl complaining about they’ve been waiting over an hr for their food, mind ya by this time we have ours. I felt bad because I had no idea those ppl was waiting on their food which they never got because they left. That’s really the only bad about anything I’ve seen .

A+ for the salad bar! Everything was very fresh and there was a good variety of items, including 3 pots of soup. There was great, friendly service from our server, Jade. She always had a smile and was patient with our questions and ordering. The food arrived quickly and hot. This was a random stop traveling home from Labor Day vacation, but we hope to make it a new tradition for future travels. We will recommend it to all our family and friends. They were out of T-Bone steak, so that was my One Star ding on Food. And the Atmosphere was nice and pleasant, but I am not a fan of Country Music. 5 stars Overall for me!

I grew up nearby. I went for breakfast. Hadn’t been there in probably two decades. My grandma passed away a couple of years ago. When I got the handwritten menu I could just feel my family there with me. It was almost as if it was a combination of everyone I love who loves me in the handwriting even. As I left I found the piano. I had been missing my grandma’s house after I ate. She had so many organs and pianos and keyboards in her house. The wood on the piano. I almost thought it was hers. I sat and played it for a moment, tears streaming from my eyes. I am very grateful for today and thankful as hell for breakfast. As I was taking pictures of my menu my waitress said, “you love them don’t you.” To which I replied, “oh yes I was just thinking about my family.” It’s like she knew, too. I miss home and everyone very very much. Thank you for giving me this moment. The food was just right.

The restaurant is spacious with a small game lounge in the rear upon walking thru the door you can see the sign. The home cooking is just right and fresh with quick service plus good portions of food. A young waiter served me and had my order correct to the i’s dotted and t’s crossed but I really really wanted to be served by the beautiful gorgeous waitress I mean gosh; though everything is for a reason and I am kinda glad the young waiter served me as I understand when sometimes women who radiate their beauteous aura often get stared at and gazed into which is rude, unbecoming and not gentleman-like yet if you are mesmerizing you are just mesmerizing and sorry you just have to deal with it the best way you know how and I can tell she handle hers pretty well so I tipped her too, the chef and the young waiter as this was my first time at this restaurant and truck stop but will not be the last time. And the restaurant has a hotel to the left or right depending on which way you facing but indeed this is an owner operator spot for sure, where the independent leaguers come to eat healthy, shower and rest in their trucks or out of their trucks. A true mom and pop restaurant and not many left either. Hopefully I will be O/O next year but until then thanks yall for the great meal seriously and wonderful courteous service and when I left Kansas City was winning by 1 with a minute and a few seconds on the clock but I’m a Panther. See yall again big MO.

Honestly, not impressed and likely not going back. We have tried a few times, both before and after the remodel. Every time theyre sold out of several items. The food is usually not how you order it, and the service is lacking. Today, we were one of maybe 5 tables, with two waitresses working and still barely saw our waitress, didnt get coffee, and food was incorrect. Just not worth it in my opinion. If im spending $40 for two meals, I want it to at least be what I ordered. Was comped for the coffee i didnt recieve, but nothing for the food that was incorrect.

Best example of “don’t judge a book by the cover”. We were both concerned based on first impression be cause of the non maintained bathrooms. But, the friendliest staff, largest cafe and best food ever.
