My mom, husband and I stopped in for a cool treat. They were out of bananas foster so I got a waffle cone of mint cacao. OMG! The best mint ice cream I have ever had, and the waffle cone, it was amazing! It has a slight taste of cinnamon. My mom had a scoop of butter pecan in a cup and raved about its taste. My husband got a banana split. They were out of vanilla, so he got strawberry, chocolate and cookies and cream. He enjoyed it. We will be back!

Great little spot. Fun downtown area. We got a verbal and taste test lesson on Creole Cream Cheese. Being from very far north this was a great bit of ice cream and cultural explanation.

Awesome ice cream shop in Covington, LA! Very much worth your time to try them out. The shop owner is very personable and the products are homemade as well as being super great awesome good! I am a vanilla ice cream expert and this stuff is at the top of my list. Great small shop in a cool business district in town.

I was on a road trip with my husband visited 11 states and had ice cream in every states and cities, I also had ice cream in different countries around the world. But none of them was good as Hoodoo ice cream. I wish they were located in Washington D.C so I could have it anytime. I highly recommend trying their home made waffle cone and chocolate flavor.

It was good, has a bit of a specialty feel. The waffle cone (their only cone) was great. It is in downtown Covington so be prepared to park a block or two away. Very limited seating inside, but take it outside to walk and eat on nice days.

Awesome ice cream. The strawberry is delicious. Their waffle cones are a must try. When we walked in all I could smell was the waffle cones that were just made. Sooooo good!
