Brisket was amazing – super tender and juicy. Pork ribs were also a hit as was the apple cider slaw. Pit beans were way too sweet for my taste and not what I expected. Will be back to try other items.

What a delicious dinner!!!! We sat at the bar and both the service and the dinner were great! We’ll definitely be back. My husband loved his pulled pork sandwich, and my brisket grilled cheese could not have been better! This place is a gem!

There was a time when I would have given this joint 5 stars and called it the best bbq in CT. Unfortunately, the last two times I went were less than stellar. The wings weren’t crispy like they normally are and I found myself preferring the buffalo over the naked for the first time in years, the fries were undercooked, the cornbread is different and super dry now and the prices seem to have gone up exponentially. That being said, I got the hogzilla sandwich and that was the saving Grace of today’s meal. Also, the sandwiches seem to be the way to go now because you get a side included with them but if you hate having messy hands, tell them not to put butter on the outside of your bun.

Very fine BBQ and well worth the trip. They only make so much a day so when they are out that’s it. I only tried the Pork Ribs, Chicken and pulled pork. All quite tasty, 5he ribs are of the dried variety and you add the BBQ sauce as desired, I like the dry rubs so just fine for me. I will say that the City joints are still better to my liking but who wants to drive all the way down all the time. Definitely want to go back and try more of their menu in the future

As a BBQ Pitmaster, masterchef alum, and native Texan, I give this place 6 stars. Great brisket with a perfect bark, the ribs were perfect and the sausage had the appropriate cheese center. The Mac was perfect and the slaw was crisp and juicy. The cornbread was a bit denser than I’m used to, but just the right amount of sweet. Friendly service and authentic atmosphere too. Highly recommend

Let’s talk about service!!! Amazing! It was super quick the food was hot the food was good I ordered the ribs cornbread and a side of mac & cheese the mac & cheese it’s just like any other restaurant I want to say it’s not your traditional at home but it works for what it’s worth.. The prices aren’t crazy and for the things that are on the higher priced and it’s worth every penny!! I recommend this place

Outstanding brisket and sausage. Not my favorite ribs or pulled pork – not bad, just not my cup of tea. Great sides and drinks. Friendly quick service. Not that everything is served family style – most meats by the pound, etc. That seems to confuse some customers, even though it is clearly explained by the menu and the servers. Come hungry – get the brisket!!

Yes! The most delicious, smoky, juicy BBQ around with the perfect atmosphere wonderfully speedy and friendly service. I can’t describe how amazing the crispy pork is. You have to eat it right out of the kitchen – the skin crunches and melts in your mouth at the same time… while the meat is juicy and smoky in the most delightful way. Brisket is also amazing. And while I wasn’t brave enough for their extreme bloody mary, the basic version was spicy just the way I like it!
