We hosted our rehearsal dinner & wedding welcome event here on 8/16 and it was the perfect space! The rehearsal dinner was an intimate group, catered buffet style by Four and Twenty Blackbirds and then we opened up the space to our remaining wedding guests to drink and mingle. First and foremost, the hospitality was unmatched. Collin and Paige were incredible behind the bar and such a delight to share the evening with. Even with a full house of ~100 people, they kept the drinks flowing and I never saw a line or wait to be served. The drink selection was awesome, everyone raved about the variety and quality. Adrienne behind the scenes was so easy to communicate with and plan our event in the months prior. And finally, the space itself — We loved the eclectic feel of the decor and the open format allowed guests to flow inside and out, stand and chat or lounge comfortably in one of the seating areas or booths. The proximity to hotels and downtown attractions made it easy for our guests to get to and from. We will hold this space dear for years to come, and can’t wait to visit in the future! Thank you Hood River Common House team!!!

Nice spot. Parking can run hot and cold. Excellent shop, well taken care of. Slim on staffing, adequate to the task. Fewer food offerings than some other places, but nothing to knock them on. It was all excellent. Family friendly. Plenty of 4 tops can easily be 6, or taller tables for couples.

Mia did a perfect job of picking out a few bottles upon my special requests. What a beautiful shop with a gorgeous selection. Extra awesome experience for smiling when I asked if my dog could come in with me for the shopping experience! Thank you HRCH! I’ll be back so soon.

Wonderful vibe & beer and wine selection, friendly staff, conservas plates & cheese boxes! Great for co-working during the day & socializing with locals in the evenings.

So disappointing. Went in for a couple of glasses of wine. Only two choices for white one from South Africa and the other from France! I wanted a glass of wine from any local vineyard! When we first walked in I thought it was a thrift store with the junky toys at the entrance. We were the only guests! How are they making wages?
Won’t be back. I doubt they will be in business

Beer is carefully selected, atmosphere is bright and inviting, when they have food, it is special. Besides that, it is just a chill space to meet friends and hang out, without feeling like your in a local dive. Although, it is locally owned and represents the community.

I have generally enjoyed this place, but just had a terrible experience. When I asked for a Spanish style Vermouth; which I’ve had before and LOVE. He said they may have an old bottle in the back but don’t generally serve it.
I then asked for an amaro, he tried to correct me in the pronunciation, which he was wrong, and said no they’re out of that. I asked for a Chianti, and if he could show me some other Italian wines. He walked close to the bottles and said yeah we don’t have any bottles today. And then directed me to maybe another place in town? Seemed 100% disinterested in making a sale. I may not ever go back.

If there is a glass poor I HIGHLY recommend letting the bartender pick a bottle for you! No corkage fee at this time. Dog friendly as well!

Fun in the late evening, of course, but try the happy hour when wine glasses are $2 off/beer on tap a buck off.
Get here!
