Please note that I score with price and genre in mind.
This was a nice big buffet with prime rib, snow crab legs, salad, pasta bar, dessert table and sundae bar. $75pp
The view and live music were nice. Aloha vibe for sure.
Food was buffet food, but fresh and wholesome. 5:30pm arrival was perfect as the tennis crowd showed up at 6 and families at 6:30pm. Refilling the crab and prime rib was constant.
Sashimi, white rice, chicken or fish teriyaki rounded out the offerings. Service was attentive. Although it’s implied for you to save your tableware, extra utensils and chopsticks are cheerfully supplied.

Should’ve read the reviews more in depth. The prime rib and seafood buffet is pretty weak. There was no Caesar salad station or bread bowls which we were excited about and both were advertised on the buffet menu on their website. It does say on that menu that items are subject to change without notice, but a Caesar salad seems pretty standard. Drinks aren’t included, only tea and coffee, but no soda. Extremely overpriced for what it was and the atmosphere isn’t very welcoming. Our server was very nice, but the hostess barely said a word to us when she sat us. We love buffets lol and have been too many, and this was by far the most underwhelming and most overpriced. Save yourself the expense and get two or three dinners out somewhere else.

Mother’s Day Brunch. Very beautiful. Very wonderful. Hostess was fantastic. Mothers were treated amazingly. Ned and Marie were filled with smiles and Aloha. Food was incredible. Drinks were very nice. The view of the beach. Great music. And the company. We’ll. Doesn’t get any better. Happy Mother’s Day. Mahalo, for the great day Honu’s!

Parking is easy, and they validate for three hours. However, I don’t recommend the Sunday buffet. Some items are missing or no longer available, but they’re still on the menu. The food was below average, and I had the worst coffee I’ve had in the islands.

We had the seafood buffet which was fabulous. There was an entire room of appetizers including clam chowder, shrimp cocktail, salads, raw fish specialties and crab legs. Everything we tried was excellent especially the crab legs. The main course offerings were prime rib, tempura shrimp and zucchini, and a pasta station where you choose your own ingredients and they cook them for you adding either Alfredo or marinara sauce at the end. All of the entrées were delicious. Yes we tried them all! Service was also excellent. Although this was a buffet all selections were plated by the staff who were numerous so that there was no waiting in line. Afterwards there was a dessert bar also excellent. And live music too.

I enjoyed the food tremendously, the dinning experience and service interactions were genuine and fun

Superb food, great service. Good prices for the Island, view of the beach from your table. Connected to the hotel Marriott courtyard. We were there a few times during our stay and each time was really a pleasure. Handicapped accessible.

Only open for Friday dinner seafood & prime rib buffets now – reservation only.
Food was good quality but not much variety. There was no fruit available, for example. If you love crab legs and prime rib and can eat a lot of those two things, it’s worth it. Otherwise, eh. -1 star for lack of variety for the $75 per person.
Waitstaff was lovely, quick, and personable, and deserve all the praise. Live music was good. Views were amazing.
-1 star for the manager who seemed to have it in for my boyfriend and me. Despite having helped us book our reservation earlier in the day, after we were seated by the host, she sent someone over to our table to confirm our last name and ask if we made reservations ?? Then didn’t make eye contact at all the entire evening but graciously tended to the other (older & nicely dressed) guests. Tip: When they say casual dress code on the website, they don’t mean it, especially if you’re under 40, or you will be judged.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner while staying in Kona for their weekend buffet. It was $50/person and they had a decent amount of options. There were 2 types of sushi, 1 chicken dish, 1 pork dish, 1 fish dish, crab legs and the beef roast. There were also 3 sides and a pasta/salad station. The servers were so nice and quick to help you, the view was also beautiful. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because it was a little pricey in my opinion for the number of options. But all delicious.

Expensive, but not terribly so. I had the Crab Cake appetizer ($18) two with Tropical Relish & Remoulade, which were delicious. I then ordered the Meat Lovers Flatbread ($18), which was very like a personal pizza, except it was very well appointed, with Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Ground Beef, Shaved Red Onions, Alii Mushrooms, & Tomato Sauce. It was filling enough as a meal, but other Entrees range from $21 to $25, with Mahi Mahi ($30) and Sirloin Steak ($35) dishes.
