Super friendly chef and attentive staff!
Amazing bull tuna and truffles among other creations.
The food gets hot quickly in the winter perhaps because the room was quite comfortably warm.
Not affordable but a reference this side of the river!

The service was excellent, and the sushi was great! We have eaten at many sushi places in the US and the UK, and the family ranked this as one of our favourites. Just don’t expect the food to come out quickly – it is art after all.
Edit to say, visited this place two years later – in November 2024 and it is still as amazing as I remember. Still the best sushi we have had!

I walk in and only asked Chef Mario to treat us well.. didnt pick anything from the menu… and was just excelent, all chef suggestions.. the whole meal and cocktails and desserts. Thank you for the magnificent food and service. Would give a 10 star if possible.

Exelent service, amazing fresh and really tasty sushi plates and relaxed/comfortable area to enjoy with friends or family. Highly recommend this place for sushi lovers. Definitely the best in the Lisbon area (including Lisbon) and worth travelling to.

The best sushi restaurant in town is undoubtedly this one, though it’s rather expensive. I highly recommend visiting and ordering the Chef’s Choice.

By far one of the top restaurant in the region. I have yet to see anything coming to the level of the Maki do chef or the Gunkans do chef. The croquante de atum and lírio carpaccio are just to die for. Great selection of cocktails and wine. Gorgeous setting. Stellar service. This is a no brainer, worth ever euros!.
