This was my first time here, I’m visiting from California and I go home tomorrow, Sunday. So we had a dinner with the fam. My brothers, sister, nephew, sister in law and her sister. It was so good and our chef who cooked our meal was amazing!! His name was Seth I think. He was funny, entertaining and was great at what he does!! Will definitely try to go again when I come to visit again.

We really wanted to like this place because the service and our waitress were great, but the all you can eat sushi was a huge letdown. The rice fell apart, the fish tasted off and warm and the Vegas roll was so bad we stopped eating and wished we had gone with teppanyaki instead.

HonMachi is hands-down my favorite teppanyaki spot in the area. I actually prefer it over the other tables nearby—the pricing feels fair, the portions are generous, and I love that they let you share without making it awkward. The service has always been amazing, every single time we’ve visited.
If I had one small gripe, it’s that I wish they’d turn the AC up—it tends to get a little warm inside. But honestly, the food is so good it’s worth powering through. It’s become our go-to spot for a reason!

We went here for my Birthday because our favorite place, Kasai, was sold out. This place is nowhere near as good as Kasai, but it wasn’t terrible. The atmosphere is definitely a bit more lower-budget, and the service was a bit lacking.
That being said, our chef was funny and the food was pretty good for the price. The gyoza were crunchy, the fried rice was nice and browned, the steak was tender, etc. We definitely prefer Kasai but wouldn’t be opposed to coming back to Hon Machi if needed.

The server was quick and attentive and the food came out sooner than I expected which is always a good thing when you’re feeling “hangry”. The food itself, I’d give a 6.5 out of 10. That is not to say that it didn’t taste good, it just wasn’t anything special. 100% Iceberg for my salad was slightly disappointing however, the dressing was tasty. The “spicy” rolls I ordered weren’t spicy in any way but they did have good flavor. Overall, I’d eat here again and maybe next time I’ll try the Teppanyaki.

Ken is an excellent sushi chef. He was very friendly and made us feel extremely special. AYCE sushi is only at the sushi bar.

Food was good, 4 stars because it wasn’t the traditional taste I’m used to at a Hibachi place. Server was great and attentive. Place was very clean.

Can I tell you how much I love this place. The atmosphere is great! Especially, in the evening outside in the patio —it’s beautiful ! My family and I celebrated my birthday there a few nights ago.. ordering their delicious Sashimi ( for me ) along with several different Sushi rolls and the Poki bowl !! I could live off the deliciousness I experienced that evening. Our service was very good, and the waitress was very sweet. The chefs were very friendly, greeting us in and out of the restaurant. After dinner I received a complimentary dessert as you can see in the photo I posted; most satisfying and beautifully presented. If you’re in the Chandler area and feel like enjoying some quality Sushi for lunch or dinner.. give this place a try! Prices are good, and the menu is easy to read. Don’t forget to greet your chefs as you enter the dining area.

Great service. The food was good but if your server asks if you want 1 sauce or 3 that comes with the combos, tell them you want all 3. They’re all delicious. Just when you think you found your favorite you try the other two and those become your favorites as well. Stick to the Sake bomber as regular drinks El run a little high. But overall it was a great experience.

The scallops were fantastic and tender. The steak was also very tender. The “show” was great. The chef was great about doing what I wanted.
