The chopped salad was really good, I had cheddar cheese instead of blue cheese. The pulled pork burger was a little bit too sweet for our taste, but still good. We got 20% discount because we joined the line dance class, which was also a lot of fun!!

Highly recommend the pork and green beans, some of the best I’ve had in a while. The sweet potato fries were lazy and bland.

Had to pay extra for sliced vs chopped brisket, but only 2 of 4 pieces were worth eating. The flavor and tenderness were excellent but I can’t help but feel we got skimped on.

1 strip of catfish also rather conservative for $13. Limited beer selection, bottles only and pricey for nothing special.

We decided to have dinner here, since it’s conveniently located inside Billy Bob’s. We had the 2 meat with 2 sides bbq dinner and it was tasty. Not the best bbq but certainly not the worst. They do give generous portions and provide very good service. They also have some delicious desserts, such as pies and cakes. I would definitely come again next time we’re at Billy Bob’s.

Not worth the price of admission if you’re just looking to have lunch and watch the game, no help and very stupid lines, can’t understand what the attraction is here…

While visiting relatives in Fort Worth we decided to go to one of our favorite areas in the Stockyards and stopped into Billy Bob’s and walked around had a beer shot some pool and just kind of hung out for a little while.

You have to pay to park, then you have to pay an admission fee before you even sit down to eat. Absolutely ridiculous. Why should I put down $20 before I even sit down to eat then also pay the bill for the food.

We went at noon on Saturday for the line dancing lessons. They were fun. Everyone was very welcoming. We stayed for lunch since the dancers get 20 percent off. We had the chop salad, a catfish po boy and the salted baked potato. It was good! No issues at all!

I should have read the reviews. We paid the $3 admission to enter Billy Bob’s to get to the Honky Tonk Kitchen. I thought it would be neat to eat there. They do offer free admission to military and veterans, which is nice. We went at 3pm. There was music playing, and an empty dance floor. The place was dead, dead…
Why one star? When we got to the counter to order, there was a long discussion between the staff on what was available and whether they were switching to a limited menu right then. They decided they had BBQ plates available. The kids ordered burgers and we ordered a 3 meat plate w sides of Baked potatoes and beans. You won’t believe this next part:
A staff member delivers our food, and we asked for forks and knives.
“We don’t have any forks.” no explanation.
My husband asked her if she was joking. She wasn’t.
She just reiterated that they didn’t have any and made no attempt to problem solve. There was NO way to eat chopped Beef, a bowl of beans and a Baked potato without utensils. I got up and went to talk to the lady that took my order and the chef that had his face in the window. I said they should’ve let us know that they didn’t have any (plastic)forks before I ordered my $20 plate of BBQ (that came in a DQ basket with an over baked old potato.) She said she had gone to the back to look, but they didn’t have any. Seems like a thing you would ALWAYS have on hand? Meat, Buns, Beans, Forks…definitely should add that to the grocery list….
While in this discussion I spotted a small container like you see on buffets holding a few metal forks and steak knives. They reluctantly gave me 2 forks. The BBQ was good, beans were good standard beans.
Save your money, it is overpriced and the afternoon entry fee and the rude service people put it over the top for the worst decision we made on our trip.
