I’ve been going to HONKAKU since the very beginning, and it has never disappointed. If you’re visiting GVA INTL Village, you’d be making a mistake not to try the Spicy Tuna Maki or the gyozas – or even stop by for a quick lunch and enjoy the excellent teppanyaki menu of the day. Every visit is truly worth your time, offering an exquisite tasting experience that keeps you coming back. Without food – the very reason we are here – what other pleasures are there in life? Food is life, and great food makes it even better. Enjoy.

This is in my opinion the best Japanese restaurant in Geneva in terms of quality-price (being Asian and having tried a variety of Japanese cuisine abroad & in Geneva). I’ve brought many of my friends here and have visited at least 5 times. Staff have always welcomed me with friendly faces and provided professional service no matter the restaurant’s busy or not. I appreciate this place and its staff very much for their authenticity, especially in the crowded scene of Eaux Vives where the service of many great restaurants are not up to par.
I’d highly recommend this place and I honestly was never disappointed by anything I ordered. Among everything my favorites are the sea urchin nigiri, seared foie gras st-jaques nigiri, eel rice, spicy tuna nigiri, and teppanyaki.

Delicious sushi in a very cozy atmosphere ! We had a lovely dinner for two taking 3 proposed formulas of rainbow rolls, maki and nigiri. The price range is very fair for Geneva, and the service was impeccable as well – definitely recommend !
